Going to a crop without my toys.

In August, I will be going to a crop in which they say "all you need is pictures, we have the rest." Has anybody been to one of these? I think it's great for the beginning scrapper (my mom and sister are just learning and don't have much in the way of supplies yet) but I can't imagine not taking my paper stacks, my CM trimmers or cutting system, and especially my Cricut! :scared1:

The only time I went to a crop like that was my very first CM crop and it was more of a class. I wouldn't feel right without my paper. I wouldn't want to make pages on paper I didn't like, plus I like to layer paper and wouldn't want to use a lot of someone else's paper to do that. I probably wouldn't like to be without my adhesive either (I'm picky). Can you speak with the crop coordinator and get more details? And, do they expect you to pay for any paper/adhesive/embellishments you use at the crop?

Uh, yeah. I would want more detail too. I am waaayyy to particular about my tools and such. I need *my* stuff!

We ladies without our "toys" would never be happy. I agree - do ask more questions. There are certain things I would never be able to scrap without. Hey, could you share more info with us when you get it? Thanks.

I could scrap with out my pictures. But I can't scrap with out my "Stuff". Even if I do need a U-Haul to get it all there!

I'm guessing that it maybe some sort of sales "event" and you will probably have to pay for everything you use (like paper, adhesive, stickers) and that there will be "shared" tools. Not bad if you like that kind of thing, but I would DEFINITELY want to bring along at least a few basics of my own.....................P
