Coming Sept 15, for Wii only:
In Toy Story Mania!, players experience the fast-paced, zany fun of the Toy Story Mania! theme park attraction, which is an interactive experience requiring 3D glasses and involving rapid or quick-firing shooting galleries. In addition to galleries adapted from the attraction, the game includes new and original galleries and a series of mini games, all hosted by beloved characters from the movies. The thematically-connected levels are designed for up to four players of all ages with competitive and co-operative multiplayer options. Toy Story Mania! also includes bonus 3D features, transforming the game experience with eye-popping visuals.

I do not like playing video games and usually make my kids save up for any game they want, unless it's a birthay or Christmas, but maybe we'll have to buy this one. Wonder how realistic it is.

We never even got on his ride last month.

We don't usually get to the parks before noon and the fastpasses were always gone by the time we got there.

The standby line was always at least 90 minutes. A 40 minute wait is my max., so alas, no Toy Story Midway Mania for us!:sad1:

I LOVE this ride and am so excited for the Wii game!! We seem to play our Mario Kart constantly, but I am sure in 2 months Toy Story Mania will be our constant game!!

btw- the Toy Story movies are being released as a 3-D double feature on Oct 2. i think we all will have Woody and Buzz on the brain all fall!

Yes its very cool but Not sure if this is the best move for disney...doesn't it take alot of the magic out of the most popular attraction at HS if you can do the same thing at home except not ride in a buggy?

These types of games for the Wii are notoriously B-A-D. They may be great for the littlest ones in the household, but if you're over 10 I would highly, highly recommend a rental first. Disney games are usually geared towards the younger, even preschool crowd and multiplayer, mini game collections are a dime a dozen on the Wii. Buyer Beware is all I am suggesting!

I will definitely rent this and I hope hope hope I'm wrong, I just want ya'll to know what you might be buying!:thumbsup2

Sometimes it isn't about the difficulty of the game. For me, I will buy this game because it is Toy Story, one of my all time favorites, and it is one that I will want to own. Plus, the fact that there are 3D bonus levels makes it more worth it to buy it outright. I also have a 5 year old boy who loves Toy Story, so that helps too...but even if I didn't, I would still buy it.

It's not just the difficulty of the game I am concerned about. It's overall quality. Do you want to spend upwards of $50 or more on a game that will last you a weekend before you are bored with it? What if the controls are not very responsive (i.e. you shoot at a target and the game doesn't recognize it).

I want something fun, something with precise, responsive controls and HIGH replayability for my money and I would be willing to spend a LOT of money on a game like that. NOT a game that will last a few hours and I've unlocked and/or beaten everything in it already. NOT a game that doesn't respond well to the actions of the Wiimote, etc.

But hey, I was just trying to do a little public service. :teacher: Buyer Beware kind of thing. I like to know what I'm purchasing first as I don't have the money to throw away on a poor quality purchase. And as I said before tho, I HOPE I'm WRONG!
