Sad news that Walter Cronkite passed away today aged 92.
I always enjoyed hearing his voice on Spaceship Earth many years ago before they did a refurb, He had a great commanding voice and is quoted as being the man most trusted in America
RIP Walter Cronkite

I remember watching him anchor the Apollo 11 flight to the moon on my parents huge 20" black and white TV pulling in WCAX from Burlington, VT via rabbit ears.

I didn't know he was the voice on Spaceship Earth. I do remember seeing him in one of the HS attractions a long time ago. I think he was interviewing Robin Williams?
In my defence, he was a little before my generation so I never knew who he was growing up.
RIP Walter :(

I don't remember much of Cronkite - but I do remember watching his news cast of the moon landing in high school to analize his "play by play". I honestly think he had an incredible persona.
RIP Walter...
