My DH and I cruised last September for the first time. We received our castaway club information sometime after that. Somehow it was misplaced. We are sailing this September and I just wanted to know, do I need that stuff for anything? like in order to get on that shorter line for return cruisers or do they have that in their computer system?

The Castaway Club check in line is not always shorter. When you get to the port, just hop on a line that looks short. A few times we have seen the Return Cruiser line much longer than the regular lines.

Call DCL, tell them your first cruise information and ask them for your CC Club number. Have them note the CC # on your reservation for your new cruise to make sure you get the return cruiser gift and invitation to the return cruiser cocktail party onboard.

The return cruisers cocktail reception lasts about an hour and there are appetizers and prepared drinks (mai tai's, whiskey sours - adults)) and punch for the younger set.

The captain and his senior officers are usually in attendance and since so many people now are return cruisers, these get pretty crowded. We had about 100 on our first return cruise and since then we have had about 250 at our last return party. They are alot of fun and you will receive an invitation in your stateroom (must bring it with you).

The new CC gift in the stateroom is currently a Castaway Club Logo Beach Towel which I hear is very nice (used to be various tote bags) One per stateroom.

While on our Easter cruise I booked our 2nd cruise and The agent gave me a $200 cabin credit. No Mention of a gift. Will DW, DD, DSIL, and I get a gift or is the $200 credit the gift.:confused:

No, you will receive the credit and there will be a gift in the room when you get there on the next cruise. Enjoy.

We are bringing friends with us on this cruise, it will be their first, our second with Disney. Can we bring them with us to the party?

I just spoke to DCL. We are in the same situation, we're cruising with friends, their first cruise,our second We have our reservations linked for the dinners, etc. and before I even asked DCL they told me that our friends would not be able to attend.
