Hello!
I just got back from WDW 3 days ago!

I wrote a PreTrip Report (link in my sig- just click the pic!)

But, I'll give you the basics!

Let's start with me!

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3582-1-1.jpg
Me and my Yeti :]

My name is Sara, I'm a young teenager. I LOVE Disney World (who doesnt?). My favorite Disney character is Tinkerbell with Tigger coming in second. My favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella. My favorite ride at WDW is a tie between Expedition Everest and Rock 'n' RollarCoaster! I hate Tower of Terror, I'll explain later on, but because of it I have a huge fear of elevators (I cant go on one by myself unless I have my cellphone and no one is allowed to jump on one [my brothers do it to scare me])

I'll do my parents together
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3257-1.jpg

Their names are Mom and Dad, simple right?
Let's start with my mom... I'm not 100% sure on her favorite character but I know she likes Piglet and Goofy. Her favorite ride at WDW is It's a Small World (a ride I HATE) her least favorite ride would most likely be Tower of Terror, like me. Me and my mom can go on any ride at WDW (we choose not to go on ToT)

My dad's favorite character is... I dont know. But he likes Mickey Mouse :] His favorite ride at WDW is Haunted Mansion and his least favorite ride is most likely some simulator ride.

Now DB11 'Jonathan'
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3146-1.jpg

He's a thrill rider, like me (excpet he goes on ToT). His favorite ride is either RNRC or EE (like me!) I'm not sure he has a least favorite ride, but it would most likely be It's a Small World. He really isnt 'into' the characters much anymore... shocker. He annoys me the most out of my brothers and we're the ones who usually fight the most.

Next DB9 'Joel'
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3144-1.jpg

His favorite character is Goofy. His favorite ride is TTA (too bad it was closed this trip) but he also likes Test Track. He likes the Pirates, he told Prince Charming he was a bad pirate :]

We have a cute puppy Jeter (he didnt come on the trip, instead he got sent to Doggy Daycare! No pics of him since he didnt accomany us on our trip)

That's our family :]

We stayed at the Polynesian Resort from 7/6-7/13 (we left 7/5)
We had a wonderful view, we could see the Grand Floridian and the lagoon (we payed for a garden view, but was lucky enough to get a great view!)

We stayed in the Tokelau building

third floor
room 3912
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2965-1.jpg

Our housecleaner-lady was awesome, we got a towel animal pretty much everyday and they just kept getting better and better!

Before we got to Disney we stayed at the Springhills Hotel in Jacksonville, but all about that will be in my next post!

So climb aboard MY monorail!
Please stand clear of the doors.
If you just joined us, welcome aboard!
If you're standing please hold onto the handrails.
For the safety of others NO SMOKEING, PLEASE.

It's trip day! Yay! I'm going to make this post short and sweet because I think that the before Disney stuff is BOR-ING! So I'll give you a run down!

I woke up a little earlier then normal. Our stuff was already packed and we were ready to hit the road! A 6-hour drive to Jacksonville, Flordia. It seems to me the drive down is a lot shorter than the drive back up (but then again, we stopped on our way down in Jacksonville, we didnt stop anywhere the way back up!) ANYWAYS!
My brothers and I did EVERYTHING we could think of on the way to Jacksonville. We watched movies, listened to iPods, argued, had snacks, argued some more, played on our DS's, and watched more movies.

We hit the road at around 10ish and at about 2PM took a break at a rest area. We were back on the road at 2:11. We arrived at Jacksonville SpringHill Suites at 3:58.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2890-1.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2892-1.jpg

I didnt get to take any pictures of the room... I figured it wasnt Disney, so who cares... :confused3 heh heh

Well! We got a good nights rest and we were ready to wake up at 5:45 the next morning! I knew my parents could do it... I just wasnt sure about my brothers and me...
I promise when we get to WDW it will get WAYYY more interesting (plus I have a gazzillion and two pictures when we're IN WDW)! 'till then... keep your hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the vehicle at all times and enjoy the ride!

I am enjoying the trip report so far, I don't understand stopping in Jacksonville at 4pm though 3 more hours and you'd be in Disney, I'd rather get there early and being in FL so close and yet being so far still would kill me.

You have a solid writing style and we look forward to reading about your trip since our family is coming in 3 weeks.

Happy Vacation.

I was wondering that too. I hated stopping halfway on our trip! When I'm on my way, stopping to go to the restroom is hard! I just want to be there.

Hey, I noticed that your wife's name is Melody. Mine, too. Of course, I've shortened it to "MEL" since no one can seem to say my name correctly. :headache: I bet your wife gets the same...

Well, we were originaly going straight to Disney World, (leaving on the 6th) but then we wouldnt have a lot of park time that day. So we left a day before and stopped in Jacksonville, we couldnt go all the way to Disney the day we left (the 5th). Our 8-day park tickets didnt start 'till the 6th and our room reservations didnt start 'till the 6th also. We just left a day ealier so we could have almost all day at the parks. I hope that cleared everything up!

Okay!
We woke up at 5:45ish, man was I tired. We got dressed and went down to the lobby to have breakfast at 6:30.
After breakfast we went back to the room and packed up all our stuff. We took our things down to the car and started the 3-hour drive to Disney World!

Soon we passed under the most magical sign in the world...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2896-1.jpg
Yay!
Soon we went under the second most magical sign in the world...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2903-1.jpg

So magical :wizard:

And now... the third most magical sign in the world!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2914-1.jpg
(sorry... the picture didnt come out the best...)

Okay... one more magical sign!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2917-1.jpg
Even the stop sign is magical!

Okay, enough pictures of signs!
Let's move on...
We arrived at the Polynesian Resort at 10:00am. We checked in and got cool leis (yellow for the guys pink for the girls)
This is what my brothers decided to do with them...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2946-1.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2947.jpg

So, we just checked in and the man behind the desk told us the golfcart thing would bring us to our room! How cool is that? We got a golfcart ride to our longhouse!
Quick question: If you've stayed at the Poly, did you get a golfcart to bring you to your longhouse? Because we saw some people get golfcarts to take them and some people have to walk... anyone have an explanation???

Anyways! I took some pictures of the view(s)

Great job on your writing and picture taking! This could be a report narrated by my daughter :rotfl: She has 4 brothers and I could picture her at your age saying (along with me) "stop the fighting!! :rotfl2: She was always a little tattletale when she was younger and wouldn't take any guff from them (still doesn't ;))

The view from your room is awesome and the room itself so pretty! I've only ventured over to the Poly for the Luau and wasn't sure I liked the dark buildings but the rooms and views are spectacular - and the beaches

As for the Poly buildings, they are very very very dark... but they're worth it, in my opinion!
I do love those beaches!!!

Magic Kingdom time!

As you know, the monorails were broken down for a day or so because of a crash. My aunt had called us on our drive down and told us about the crash. Luckily, the monorail was back up and running the day we got there. But it wasnt up until the afternoon.

So that morning we took the boat to Magic Kingdom

Here are the pictures I took from the boat
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2970.jpg
one of the buildings at the Poly
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2971.jpg
the Contemporary
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2972.jpg
The Grand Floridian

We got off the boat and entered Magic Kingdom (after all the check-in and bags being checked of course!) and saw this
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2973.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2974.jpg

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2977.jpg
What a MAGICAL castle! :] I think everything's Magical- dont I?

We decided to go get Fast Passes for Jungle Cruise. So my dad went and got them and my mom, my brothers, and I waited by the remote-control boats!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2983.jpg

Now, here's why the title says what it says...
The first ride we ride EVERYTIME we go to WDW is Pirates of the Caribbean!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2988.jpg
(It's too dark, but hey, NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!)
And incase you're wondering... I took 80% of the photos you will see on this TR, but when I'm in the photo, that means my mom took it :]

So, we rode POTC and headed over to Jungle Cruise to use our Fast Passes. We got right on!
We decided to get Fast Passes for Big Thunder Mt. Railroad, a favorite of our family.

So while waiting for the time to use our FPs we went to get some lunch at Pecos Bill!

Joel got the kids hamburger and a cookie
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2993.jpg
I got a chicken salad
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2994.jpg
(just a little FYI, I ate a salad for lunch almost everyday. I wanted to experience them all!)
My mom and dad split a cheeseburger
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2995.jpg
Jonathan just had a coke, he wasnt hungrey.
We all had carrot cake for dessert (except Joel who had a cookie)

After lunch we still had some time before our FPs so we rode a favorite of my dads, Haunted Mansion!
Then it was time to ride BTMR!

Our Dinner reservations that night were at 'Ohana, which is at our Resort. So we went back to the Poly. Which, we got to ride the monorail to, just the resort monorail was running, but later on that day all of the monorails were working!

We had a while until our reservations, so we got our bathing suits on and hit the pool! Except me... I hate pools, mainly when they are over-crowded, then I wont even think of going in! But I do believe I went in right by the 0-enrty part of the pool. I think I was the only one in my family who DIDNT go down the awesome slide there :[ Oh well, I really had no desire.

So my brothers went swimming and my dad went to the pool-bar thing (I forgot what they call it- but you go to the bar without shoes on, because its next to the pool). He brought back a drink for my mom and him to share (I forgot its actual name)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3009.jpg
(I ate the pineapple! Yummy!)

Here's me reading an article in a magazine about Michael Jackson
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3010.jpg

My mom and I then went to Captain Cooks to go get our mugs! (Mine is the red one) I love these mugs, they are WAY better than our old ones, our old ones were blue, and the ones after that were okay, but I think these are the best!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3013.jpg

Something nice about the Poly that we didnt get when we stayed at the Contemporary was that the lifeguards interacted a lot more! When we were there that day the lifeguards organized a game of dodgeball, which I knew wasnt going to end well.

But here's my brothers playing (I never participated in any of the games)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3018.jpg

So now it was time to go to 'Ohana! We went back to the room, got changed and went over the Great Ceremonial House and found our way to 'Ohana!

We checked in at the desk about 10 minutes early. We waited about 15 minutes to get in. So my parents shared a drink= Captain's Mai Tai
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3028.jpg
(I wanted to eat the orange, but it was drenched in the drink, which my parents said was VERY strong...)

My mom and I shared a seat since the waiting area was FILLED with people... waiting!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3029.jpg

Eventually some people left and we all got our own seats. That's when I decided to take a picture of my MAGICAL pin!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3037-1.jpg
I love that pin! I wore it all the time, even though I really wasnt celebrating anything big... I said I was celebrating my... 7th visit to WDW (which to some of you reading probably sounds like 2 times :] )

So we were seated- finally, but it was well worth the wait- let me tell you!
Our 'cousin' was awesome- really nice! We sat towards the back, by a window.

We got our bread- yum!!!! My mom told us we could only have one peice, she wanted us to eat our dinner... Dont worry mom, we did!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3038.jpg

Next came the salad- YUMMM! The dressing was to die for! Best Salad EVER!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3040.jpg

Next our 'cousin' brought us dumplings and chicken wings.

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3042.jpg
The dumplings were good, not amazing, but good

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3043.jpg
The chicken wings were great! Very very good!

Our 'cousin' also brought us dipping sauces, they were all okay.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3041.jpg

Continued on next post due to amount of pictures!

Next we were brought noodles and brocoli
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3044.jpg
The noodles were okay, nothing special
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3045.jpg
I dont really like brocoli, but I tried some, it was 'eh'.

Next came the meat (I didnt take very good pictures of the meat... but there was three kinds: pork, steak, and turkey. Plus the shrimp!

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3051.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3052.jpg

The pork was good, the steak was AWESOME, the turkey was also good, and the shrimp was AMAZING!

During the dinner they had a lot of interaction with kids. Joel participated a lot.
Here's him
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3049.jpg

While we were at WDW my parents were celebrating their anniversery. So the guy who was incharge of all the activities said all people who were celebrating an anniversery, wedding, honeymoon, or other romantical event. So my parents went up and danced or whatever they were supposed to do... we kids werent really paying attention... because I came up with the idea to stuff our mouths with that yummy bread we werent supposed to be eating! When my mom looked over at us Jonathan held up his huge chunck of bread, waved it and smiled. Are we not the perfect children? Haha!

Back to our dinner... our 'cousin' brought us our banana desert! Yummy!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3058.jpg
And vanilla icecream with mickey sprinkles
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3059.jpg
They were both delicious! I loved the banana sauce, it was heaven!

So we finished off our dinner and decided to go over to Magic Kingdom again.

We took the monorail over there and rode one of my favorites...
The teacups (as I call then)
Only my mom, Joel, and I can ride them, my dad and Jonathan get motion sickness or whatnot...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3060.jpg

Then Joel decided we go ride Goofy's barnyeard chase ride. We all rode it, but seriously that thing is over in two seconds! It's a good thing there was no line!

We then rode Carousel of Progress, I love that song! "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow..."
And Buzz Lightyear! I stink at the game...

After that my mom and Jonathan "couldnt hang" and left. So my dad, Joel, and I rode my least favorite ride... Small World... we just rode it to make my mom mad that she left early and didnt get to ride it :] Then we rode Haunted Mansion, a worthy ride!

Then we left and took the monorail back to the Poly at about 10:40.

What a wonderful end to a wonderful first Disney Day!

I personally prefer the Poly. But, I do like the Contemp a lot. The Poly had a cool pool, an awesome room, the Hawaiian theme was amazing, the beach was sooo cool, and the Poly is right next to the Ticket&Trans. Center. It appealed a lot to kids/teens. The only bad thing is the lighting... which I dont think your niece and nephew would care too much about.

The Contemporary was nice, having the monorail run through the building was sooo cool, the pool was okay, the rooms were brightly lit, the rooms were really cool decorated, there was a computer in the room (the Poly doesnt have a computer). cons were little things teens wouldnt care about :]

I would pick the Poly, I think your niece and nephew would enjoy it the most!

Great Update! Keep 'em coming!

Of course ;]

Well, I was going to update today, and I had typed the whole thing up on here, with all the pictures- then something went totally wrong with the website and deleted all my work. It took me a while to type it all up and I dont feel like doing it all again, I'll probably update tomorrow, but for now I'll Do another 'A little extra' this time Polynesian Edition

Rating (1-10):
D-9
M-9
S-9
DB11-9
DB9-8

Thoughts:
M- Very pretty
S- Love the beaches and the themeing
DB9- Contemporary Resort is better, in my opinion

Pros:
-beaches
-theme
-pool
-interactions with kids
-food
-location

Cons:
-dim lighting
-something goes wrong with our room... wait to find out...

Ending Statement:
The Polynesian Resort is wonderful, I loved pretty much everything about it and it's the best resort we have ever stayed at, in my opinion. Captain Cooks was great, 'Ohana was the BEST, all around it was amazing. You felt like you were in Hawaii- almost :]

Loving the TR!! I got to stay at the Poly once when I was your age. It is a magical resort. I've never been to Hawaii but I'm assuming it's pretty close!! My fam debated staying there for our visit in Dec since I can still get 50% off but we chose WL (again!) which was $20 cheaper a night..in my opinion $20 extra a day for the monorail and location is worth it but my dad felt WL feels more like Xmas, I guess he is right!!

Well, now after my little irritation, I am ready to start back up!

So I woke up at about 9:00am and ate breakfast in the room. I let my mom do my braids, which is an honor, because NOBODY touches my hair, I love it too much :] While my mom was braiding my brothers went out to play volleyball and pretty much TORCHERED me! Let me tell you a little story... when we went to WDW in January for two days we went to the Polynesian to check it out and my brothers and I saw a volleyball net and ever since then I've wanted play volleyball on the beaches of the Poly... so that was a wonderful falshback!

When my brothers came back my mom, Joel, and I went to the Great Ceremonial House and got postcards for our family.

We came back to the room and walked over to the Ticket&Trans. Center and got on the monorail to EPCOT

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3064.jpg

Then we saw the MAGICAL "golf ball" I call it a golfball, deal with it ;]
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3065.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3066-2.jpg

While walking over to Test Track we saw these guys:

THE JAMMITORS :rockband:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3070.jpg

We got FP's for Test Track:car:
Then got on Figment!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3073.jpg

We then walked though the countries and stopped when we saw another bunch of performers...

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3081.jpg

I wanted to eat lunch in China and so did my dad but my mom, Jonathan, and Joel wanted to have Mexican food so my dad and I ordered shrimp fried rice from Lotus Blossom Cafe and my mom took my DBs over to Mexico and would then bring their food back over to China. So my dad and I got our food and started eating when I realized I DONT HAVE THE CAMERA! I left it in my mom's bag which she had with her over in Mexico! So i had to wait to eat the rest of my food until she came back, just so I could take a picture of it for you guys :] So I had to pick at my food for about 15 minutes until my mom came back with the camera. So she FINALLY came back and I took my wonderful pictures of food:
Joel's kid nachos and churro
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3087.jpg
My mom's everything nachos
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3088.jpg
And my shrimp fried rice with an egg roll (my dad had the same thing)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3089.jpg
Jonathan jsut had a churro- that kid hardly eats anything!

Well we were sitting down eating the rest of our lunch when it started POORING. Uh oh! This was a major problem because my dad had left the laptop out on the balcony so the people watching his webcam thing could see the view and what not... well he didnt want it getting soaked, did he? So my dad and Jonathan took one of our bags we were carrying and ran off in the POORING rain to the monorail and back to the Poly (dont worry everything was safe and dry!). So my mom, Joel, and I finished our lunch and went over ot Norway to go on Maelstorm. And we hit the giftshop there:

Then we stopped by MouseGears where Joel got this SUPER stylish hat:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3117.jpg

And I got a 'Sara' necklace that is TOO cute!
And a cute ears headband thing:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3115.jpg

My mom got an ornament and a magnent

We took the monorail back to Ticket&Trans. Center and walked back to the Poly. Then back to the room where we were greeted by our first towel animal:

I agree it is a golf ball!!

When one of my friends were working the pin station by the "golf ball" one of her fellow CMs-a trainer- was giving directions and said the "golf ball" instead of the geo. sphere (formal name) and was caught by a manager and written up for it!! I guess even tho it's a golf ball when giving directions as a CM it's not haha!!

Loving your report... especially your detailed report of Ohana's since that is the meal I am most looking forward to eating on our trip.

When Epcot first opened I used to be scared of the giant golfball... no matter where I was in the park I made sure I had an exit stragegy planned for the minute that thing fell off its supports and started rolling around. Thankfully, all these years later, Epcot is my favorite park and the golfball is still where it belongs...

Okay, I will update, since I have nothing better to do :] JK :]

Well, where I last left you off, we were back at the resort with my towel animal elephant! I loved dear... elephantus! ANYWAYS. We were going to have dinner in France that night (Les Chefs de France) so we were going to relax for a while then head back to EPCOT. We went to the pool, we went to the arcade- a favorite of my brothers. Then it was about time for our ADR's so we headed towards the Tocket&Trans. Center to take us to EPCOT, again. When we got there we walked straight for France. We checked in and were told our wait would be on the short side.
Now, before I go on ANY longer let me tell you about my bias family. First off, I learned the word BIAS in Science this past school year, and I use it whenever I get the chance. So, when my mom was making her ADR's she asked me where else we should eat. I told her France. She wasnt so sure about my pick... I didnt know why at the time. Well, I later found out my parents, and brothers were all BIAS, towards France. Well... at the end of the meal I asked them how they liked it, and they all loved it. Haha, I was right- they were wrong. It was a GREAT choise eating in France, and it was all my idea- I made sure they all knew that.
So, we waited a little while to get in but the guy who calls out the parties names (I have no idea what his job is called) had a really cool French accent and talked to us kids for a minute. Here's our own personal conversations with him:

Him: I like your hat
Joel: Thanks
Him: You look like Justin Timberlake
Joel (after the guy left: Who's that?

Him: Do you have a cell phone with you?
Me: No (I had left it in the room)
Him: Smart parents.
Me: Uh...
Him: Because I was going to say, no texting alowed!
Me: *Hehe*

Him: Same with you and your 'PSP' and Gameboy video games!
Jonathan: Yea, whatever...
(Seriously, thats his attitude 24/7)

So we were seated, my parents, Justin Timberlake, Texting girl, and whatever boy. Unfortunatly, I sat next to Whatever boy. Lucky me.
Atleast we got along... for about the first minute
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3118.jpg
Yes, we were playing tic-tac-toe until he started cheating, no- I did nothing!

We got our appatizers (I forgot why we got appaztizers in France, but we did- and we normally dont).

My mom got Lobster Bisque
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3121.jpg
She loved it, now shes always telling me "I'm going to make Lobster Bisque soon." I dont believe it though :]

My dad got some soup- maybe french onion?
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3122.jpg

I got a salad (it was okay)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3125.jpg

Joel got the kids salad with some kind of pastry
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3123.jpg

Then we got the bread:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3126.jpg
It was good :]

This is Jonathan making his laughing face while chewing his bread (yuck):
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3127.jpg

And me (when I give Jonathan a chance to take a picture he always messes it up, he put the camera two inches away from my face):
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3132.jpg

Now it was time for our food!
My dad, Jonathan, and I all got the roasted chicken
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3129.jpg

My mom got the salmon:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3130.jpg

Joel got something off the kiddy menu, that I forgot to take a picture of, so I cant remeber what it is that he got.

Then I let Joel take a picture, again, my brothers arent awesome photographers like Me- or I guess since we're in France, they arent awesome photographers like Moi'!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3131.jpg

Now for desert!
Joel got the kids chocolate icecream:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3133.jpg

Everybody else got some chocolate fudge pastry icecream dish thingy!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3134.jpg
It is tied for first in the desert catagory (with 'Ohanas banana desert) I ate every last bite of it, it was so good!

Bye, France, all the bias people and me are leaving you :[

So we walked by one of those things where you put your head through the whole, and decided to take our picture, I mean it's not everyday there is one of those with THREE holes. Problem was... the hole at the top was a little too far up... I'm 5'3'' and I couldnt reach the hole- you couldnt even see the tip of my head! So i had to keep jumping up, and most of the time the picture would end up like this:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3136.jpg
(without me in the picture!)

I finally got the idea to jump up and try to hang on to the hole... whoth was pretty hard considering it was high up and I have more lower body strength.
But I finally got my head in one picture!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3138.jpg

Heres a picture of the 'golfball' (everybody agrees with me that it should be a golfball- so from now on, it will be a golfball, nobody can refer to it as anything else :] ) I think its a really pretty picture
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3139.jpg

I also think this is a cute picture
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3141.jpg

After dinner we rode Spaceship Earth (the golfball ride). Also, my mom, Jonathan, and I rode Mission:Space the green one. And then my mom and I decided to try Mission:Space more intense (orange-spinning). I like the orange one, it was defintaly more intense, your head felt like it was glued to your seat there was so much G-force. I couldnt tell you were spinning- I had no idea, you really couldnt tell at all. So if you havent gone on Mission:Space more intense because of the spinning factor, dont worry about it- you cant tell its spinning AT ALL. The only thing is, you have to look forward at all times, you cant close your eyes and you definatly cant try and pull your head forward- at all. I remember when it told me to press one of my buttons, I couldnt because there was too much G-force I could hardly lift my hand up!

It was getting late by then, so we decided to head back home. What a wonderful day at EPCOT.

The Gorgonzola really makes it POP!

I love your updates and your descriptions of your brothers. We always called it a golf ball too...or Grandpa's Ball. It was called "Grandpa's Ball" because it was my dad's (and my kids' grandpa) favorite ride at all of Disney. When he died the week before our trip last year, it was very hard doing that ride.

And I have to disagree with you on Mission Space. I did the orange side and felt like I was spinning. Thankfully, I had not eaten...or what I had eaten would have been all over. :rotfl:

You really are a great writer and I really am enjoying your updates. Keep it up.

Yes, some peopl say they feel like they are spinning, but no one in my family who went on felt that way. I wonder why.

Okay, time to update.

I woke up around 9am to disaster... a tile in our ceiling had broken during the night and we had to call a guy to come fix it.

This is what it looked like AFTER the guy had come to mess around with it:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3178.jpg

We went to the arcade and played some games!

Then we decided to take a boat ride around the lagoon.
The guy at the dock told us to go slow, so we did. Then we were pulled over by the 'water police' who told us to go faster. The CM 'water police' chick was not very Disney-happy. I didnt like her, at all.

Anyways, here are the hundreds (okay, not hundreds) of pictures we took while on the boat:

And the Grand Floridian
NOTE: While on this trip I have decided that I am getting married at the Grand Floridian- the Wedding Pavillion, of course! I could care less (at this point) about the cost- hey I'm only a young teen ;]

When we got back from the boat ride (I didnt really enjoy the boat ride, I dont really like boats...) there was a towel animal waiting for us!

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3177.jpg
I have no idea what it is, but it's cute! Oh and its sitting next to my ADORABLE Polar Bear, Mr. Snow. I only like WHITE stuffed animals, so I was LOVING the towel animals, because they were white :] Dont ask, because I dont know.

We got on our bathing suits and headed to the pool. The boys all went swimming and my mom and I went shopping at the hotels giftshops!
I got Mickey Earings
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3188.jpg
And Mickey stitchwork ears
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3192.jpg
And a pin for my lanyard! (A Poly pin, of course!)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3187.jpg

My mom got a cute necklace that it totally her! And a charm for her charm bracelet.

Then we headed over to Captain Cooks!
I got the Poly Special Salad:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3180.jpg
It was pretty good.

My mom got a double cheeseburger and so did Jonathan:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3181.jpg
They said it was yummy.

My dad gotta sandwhich of some kind (he started to eat it before I could take a picture :[ ) :
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3182.jpg

And Joel got a kids hamburger:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3183.jpg

We all gotta a dolewhip, I dont really like Pineapple so I got a vanilla one but I think everyone else got a pineapple one. I did try the Pineapple dolewhip, it was okay, but I'd rather just have plain vanilla dolewhips :] it tasted better than just normal icecream:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3185.jpg

The boys went back into the pool and me and my mom were SUPPOSED to go get new sunglasses for me because my original cute white pair had broken :[
So we took off back to the room but stopped when we came to the hammocks and decided to lay down and relax for a minute. It was VERY relaxing and stayed there for about ten minutes before I realized that we were on a very important mission, Mission:Find Sara new sunglasses! But... my mom was tired so when we got back to the room she layed down...
and. went. to. sleep. No new sunglasses for me :[ It's a good thing it wasnt too sunny for the rest of the day.

Let's see, I left you guys wondering WHEN I WAS GOING TO GET MY SUNGLASSES :] Well, not this day!

BACK ON TOPIC...
After a morning of relaxing at the Poly it was time to head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios, formally known as MGM :]

So we headed over for HWS and arrived to a beautiful sight:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3195.jpg

We passed by a lot of interesting sights on our way to The Backlot Tour.
Such as:

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3200.jpg
We were in the front row so we got kinda wet!

I decided to take a picture of this...

Now we started to make our way over to Mama Melrose for dinner :] YUM! Italian food!

On the way there I took a few pictures...

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3213.jpg

Oh- no way! A snowman in the middle of July?! We had to get a picture with him!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3214.jpg

Time for dinner!

We were seated and gave our waiter our orders...
Soon the bread came...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3217.jpg
Yumm

Since Joel was on the Kids plan he got an appatizer... which my mom ate, I forgot what it was.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3218.jpg

Then our food came!
My mom got pasta with shrimp:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3219.jpg

My dad got Chicken Parmesean:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3225.jpg

Joel got the kids pepperoni:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3223.jpg

Jonathan got the four cheese pizza:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3224.jpg

I got the Pepperoni pizza:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3226.jpg
It was good!
So now, let me tell you a magical story.
Once upon a time, A princess, A pirate, and a prince were eating dinner at a royal restaraunt with their parents. They were all enjoying their Italian meal when the Prince said "The gorgonzola really makes it POP!" The Princess stared at him "What did you say?!". The Prince looked at her and said, again, "The gorgonzola on this four cheese pizza, really makes it POP!". Then the whole table bursted out laughing.
What a wonderful fairytale! Oh wait, no it really happened! That's right I'm the princess :] Joels the pirate... and Jonathans the prince who is always trying to be funny...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3228.jpg

Okay, back to our un-fantasized story!
Soon, our deserts arrived!
Jonathan and I got Chocolate Truffles, yumm!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3229.jpg

My dad got the cheese cake:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3230.jpg

My mom got vanilla icecream:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3234.jpg

And Joel got icecream also:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3232.jpg

Then I looked up... and saw this...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3237.jpg
Two dolls staring down at us, CREEPY!

So with our bellies full my mom, Joel, and I decided to ride Star Tours, that's always a cute ride!
Then we all went on the Great Movie Ride, fun fun fun!
At the end of the ride we saw Mary Poppin's Pony!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3238.jpg

We couldn't go on Rockin Rollarcoaster because they wait was too long :[

So we headed back to the Poly and decided to get our caricatures done!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3244.jpg

There wasn't a wait but it took about 10-15 minutes per person, so altogether we waited about 40 minutes. I was the last one to get my done, oh well. Here are a few pics from that experience:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3239.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3241.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3243.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3245.jpg

And the final results:
Joel- Beach Dude (he wanted muscles):
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3293.jpg

Jonathan- Tarzan (he wanted muscles too):
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3296.jpg
(Yea, he loves making those faces)

Me- Beach Babe (no muscles for me ;] ):
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3294.jpg

They were pretty cool!

So after we got our caricatures done we went and got some icecream from Captain Cooks and went to eat it along the beach so we could see teh MK fireworks! It was pretty cool watching the fireworks from the Poly's beach. It was not as loud and we didnt have to turn our heads every which way to see them. We saw them all nice and clear from our place on the beach. It was pretty cool!

After the cool fireworks we went back to the room to go to bed. By the time we turned all the lights off and what not it was around 11:30 at night. Then all of a suden. "PLOP" Oh. No. The ceiling fell in. Again. We had to call a guy to come a fix it. Again. There must have been a water spill in the roof (we were on the third floor, nobody was above us) and it was breaking the ceiling tiles. I really dont know what happened from there, I kinda fell asleep. So I have no idea what happens next, oh well! Our ceiling was fixed eventually.

Well, I dont think we were offered to change rooms. And even if we were, my mom would NEVER give up that amazing view we had. I think it was worth it to keep the room's view, pluz I enjoyed being on third floor, you could see more of the view. If you were on the first or the seconds there would be palm trees blocking your view.

Sara, sorry it has been so long since I have told you how great your TR is going. I have so enjoyed these last updates. All I can say is "my bad". I am appreciating your style more and more. I had two older brothers and I'm not sure which is worse older and younger. I think that is just how brothers are.

Will patiently wait for the next post and will not wait so long to respond.

Okay, it's time to update! Again! I will do my "A little extra:Mama Melrose edition" tomorrow.

So, it's Day 5 of our vacation and we've been in WDW for 4 days! Whoa, our trip is half way over :[ ... well, WAS half way over...

Let's get started!
I woke up at about 8:30ish and got ready for Animal Kingdom! There were a few complaints 'Oww my feet hurt' 'I'm tired' and all that stuff. But we made it to the bus without having to go to the hospital.

We got on the AK/BB bus and there was only a few people on the bus besides us. So the bus driver asks us if anyone is going to Blizzard Beach. Nobody was so he said, "I dont care what the computer says, we're skipping Blizzard Beach! Hey, they still let me drive the bus." So we headed straight for AK, thanks to the amazingly awesome CM bus driver!

When we got there we went straight for the Dinotwirl ride! Everyone except my dad, who went to get my mom, Jonathan, and me FP's for Expedition Everest. So we waited in line... about a 20 minute wait? Yikes. But, we waited and we finally got on! It was really cute and I love the spinning factor and how it makes you feel like you're going to fall off. It's cute.

We took a few pics from on it:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3248.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3251.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3249.jpg

So my dad was waiting for us with the FPs and by the time we had finished riding the DinoTwirl it was almost time that we could ride EE. So we headed over there and had to wait a minute (literally) to use our FPs.

We got in the FPs line for
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3261.jpg

Wait, there was NO line, but it was starting to drizzle.

We got straight on EE. Me and Jonathan sat together and my mom sat with a single rider guy. Who kept saying jokes and such. So the ride took off and you go pretty FAST on it... which is a problem when its raining a little more than a drizzle... it basically felt like rain was PELTING us in the face we were going so fast. But, instead of it being a negative thing, it just made the ride more fun! EE is one of the BEST rides, if not the BEST.

So after our adventure with the Yeti we went and got FPs for Kilimonjaro Safaris. Then we felt the need for some lunch. We headed to Flame Tree BBQ. Here was our amazing lunch:
Jonathan and Joel got the ribs=
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3253.jpg
My dad got chicken=
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3255.jpg
And me and my mom got some delicious salad=
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3254.jpg

It was a good lunch. Then we headed back over to KS and got on. It was a fun ride, here are some pics:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3259.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3264.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3266.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3269.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3270.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3276.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3277.jpg

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3281.jpg

Then as we were walking back to the buses, my mom looked inside a store and showed me... a round stuffed yeti! I though "I must have him!" I mean, he was cute and round and WHITE! White stuffed animals are the BEST! So I got him! Yay! He's sooo cute!

So here I am with my Yeti:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3285.jpg

And here he is by himself:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3289.jpg

So we left AK, that was the only time we went there and we didnt do much, sadly. But there isn't really much to do.

So we went back to the room, to find...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3286.jpg
Another towel animal! I think it was a lizard.

Okay, Mama Melrose!

Rating (1-10):
Dad: 6
Mom: 7
Me: 7
DB11: 8
DB9: 8

Thoughts/Comments:
Dad: "Couldn't tell if I was at TGI Fridays or Mama Melrose"
Me: It was okay, I liked my Pizza :]

Pros:
-Italian food
-In HWS
-We were seated as soon as we walked in
-Had good seats (towards the back of the main room)
-Food was fine

Cons:
-Food was "okay"
-Weird dolls were staring at us from above ;]

Ending Statement:
All in all it was fun. My pizza was some of the best pizza ever. We were seated right away, which is always a plus. It was the only place we ate in HWS for dinner, because we've already eaten at 50's Prime Time and we did NOT want to eat at Sci Fi, bad reviews on it. And the other place my mom didn't want to eat at (I forgot what it is called... something durby?).

Thanks :] Yea, one year we waited in line for EE and it had pretty cool things to look at. But we dont like waiting in line so we got FP's and we saw the items as we walked by them. The ride is definatly the best ever :] Well tied with RNRC atleast.

It is, not extremely but some. I'd say its about the same intensity as EE... except you're in the dark the whole time, not just for a little bit. But if you sit in the front of the 'spaceship' you can see where you're going the whole time.

Sorry, I've been a bit behind in my TR's. Imagine my delight to come back and find THREE updates! I love Primeval Whirl at AK. That is my favorite! I always get a bruise from it, though, still totally worth it. EE was alright for me. I didn't get it at first, but then we started backwards and I was like, okay - I get it!

You got some great safari pics, too.

Bummer about not getting to ride RNRC at DHS. The Backlot Tour looked fun. The PoTC cage balls must be new. I haven't ridden since 2006, though. Missed it in both 2008 AND 2009! What the heck's the matter with me???? Maybe next time!

Okay! So after we chilled out at the room we walked over to the T&TC and got on the monorail to EPCOT.
We walked around the countries until we came to Japan. They really should've made Teppan Edo easier to find. It took us a few minutes to find it.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3301.jpg

Well we finally walked in and were given one of those buzzer thingys that buzz when you can be seated. So we waited in the verrry crowded waiting room (another restaurant waits there too) for a few minutes before our buzzy thing starts buzzing it's head off. So we walk up to the desk and so does another family. They tell us we'll be sitting together, great. So we were seated infront of the stovetop, cool! The other family (A family of three, a mom, a dad, and a little boy) was fine. I don't think we ever said a word to them, haha. The table was a little on the cramped side, but we made it all work.

So here we are
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3303.jpg

So our waitress came by about ten times telling us 'not to touch the hot surface!' So we didn't :]

Soon, our chef came over. As soon as he got there he started! On the other family! They must've been on the Deluxe Dining Plan because they got an appatizer. My mom told me I should ask them to take apicture of their sushi. Haha! So after he did their apparizers he put some oninions on the stove and then started putting them one on top of the other, cutting out the middle of them. I was like 'what is he doing?!'. Soon his tower of onions was getting really tall. This is what it looked like:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3304.jpg

And then... he put some oil or whatever in the tower (aka the soon-to-be volcano) and this happened!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3305.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3306.jpg

Then we were given our dipping sauces
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3309.jpg

And rice
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3310.jpg

Then he cooked up the noodles with other veggies in them.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3311.jpg

Before I go on, let me show you what eveyone in our family ordered:
Me: Steak and Chicken
Mom: Steak and Shrimp
Dad: Steak and Chicken
Jonathan: Steak (filet mignon)
Joel: Chicken

So then he started the meats.
I only took pictures of my plate.
So here's my plate with chicken added!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3312.jpg

Then came the steak- YUM!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3313.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3314.jpg

Look at us using chopsticks!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3315.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3316.jpg

For desert we got icecream, chocolate and vanilla
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3318.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3319.jpg

After dinner we stopped by Mexico and looked at the little hand carved/hand painted figures.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3320.jpg
The little ones were 10-15 dollars each

This big one was like 80 dollars
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3321.jpg

Then the purple monkey :] It was about 45 dollars
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3322.jpg

Then the Flamingo! It was the biggest one there. I dont think it was for sale, but if it was, it would have been expensive!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3323.jpg

Then the froggie, it was being sold for around 100 dollars
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3324.jpg

After Mexico we headed over to Mission Space (my mom, Jonathan, and I) ORANGE. It was Jonathan's first time riding Orange. It was awesome. My dad and Joel went to ride Spaceship Earth. Then we all went to Test Track and waited in line (no FP's) (although it was EMH) It was about a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it. The whole time in line Jonathan made rude comments towards me, ughhh. But we finally got on to TT and took off! It was SO fun! Then we headed over for 'Soarin. The wait was also about 30 minutes but it was TOTALLY worth it, again! I love 'Soarin, it really feels like your flying over California.

Then we stopped by a place in the pavillion place to get soda's/chocolate milk. Then we called it a night and headed over to the Poly. We got back to the Poly and my mom and I quickly went to the giftshop and we got my new sunglasses! Here they are:

Your meal looks delish. Whenever I go to a restaurant like that, I always get the chicken and steak. Mmmm.

You're right - you got some totally cute sunglasses. They really suit your face. :thumbsup2 I think I like those better than the white ones to be perfectly honest. :goodvibes

Yea, the onions were pretty cool, I loved the smoke coming out of the onion volcano! Thanks, I love my new sunglasses!

Love this update. We have a couple or 5 places like that here and we enjoy the food. Kinda high dollar but fun. Glad you liked it. I am like Mel and you, I always get the steak and chicken.

I love TT and Soarin. They are both really good rides in my opinion

Love the new sunglasses. They look really nice on your cute face.

Whoa, that's a lot, Lol :]
I do remember some people having their birthdays there. I didn't see what they do, but I heard it. When I was there the waitresses scream out Happy Birthday then try to get everybody to sing happy birthday to them. That's all I know.

So we are eating at Tepan Edo in September and I am curious about what you said about it being hard to find. Would you be able to describe it so I might have an easier time locating it when we go?

Thanks:)

Hi! I've been reading your trip report since you started and I LOVE it!!! I'm about your age and I will be staying at the Polynesian with my family on our trip to WDW in September. I'm enjoying reading about the hotel and the rest of Disney from another teen's point of view. I just got my account so I thought I should tell you how much I'm loving it! Keep up the good work & I can't wait for more!!!:thumbsup2

Sure. When you first get to Japan (the main area) and you are facing the main area, to your right there are some stairs. You have to go up them and then walk down a little to your left. It's in those doors. Once you are in there you see the other restaraunt. Go to the right and there is the check in desk. Then when you get to go in, the waitress will bring you in there. So that's about it :]

Teppan Edo is definatly worth it. I would recommend the Steak and Chicken, it was sooo yummy! The post above answers your other question :]

Okay! UPDATE!

So, this is day 6 of our 9 day vacation :[

Well, I woke up at 9:00 and got ready for Hollywood Studios! Again! Hopefully this time we get to ride RNRC!

Once we got off the bus my dad headed over to ToT and RNRC to get FPs. While he was getting them my mom took a few pictures:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3326.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3327-1.jpg

Oh, don't forget the subway!

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3329.jpg

Then we headed over to ride the Muppets 3D (4D) ride!

Here are a few pictures while we were waiting to get in.

Me and Kermit

Me and the Muppeet Vision 3D sign

Joel and the Muppet Gang
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3332.jpg

We finally got in! The show was cute, as always!

As we were walking we came upon a few picture perfect spots!

First, MY car (I was driving it ;] )
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3334.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3335.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3333.jpg

And second, WE'RE GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3336.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3337.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3338.jpg

Well, after our pictures my dad and Jonathan started off towards...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3343-1.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3342.jpg

I've, unfortunatly, riden it once. Worst experience ever. I rode it three years ago. My dad, Jonathan, mom, and my Dad's friend's son went on it. My dad and I were seated in the front row. In the very center. Yay. My mom, brother, and Dad's friends son rode in the back row. On the side. Lucky. Well... it was not very fun. I remember that ride so vividly! At first, the doors wouldn't close, which scared me. Then we went through the little ghost experience thingy then we sat there for what felt like ten minutes until... drop! Down we went, then back up, then we stopped and stayed still for so long then we dropped, and all of the over and over again. The whole time I was about a foot out of my seat and my dad had his hand on my leg the whole time, so by then end I had a huge red mark on my leg from where my dad had had his hand. Oh, and what made it worse? At the very top it feels like you come right out of the hotel and you can see the whole park. Yea, scarier when you're front row, center stage. Now, I'm afraid of elevators. No lie :]

Well, they rode it. And while they were riding it my mom got Joel and me icecream, yay!

My mickey icecream bar
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3339.jpg

Joels twirly popsicle (DB's LOVE them)

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3341.jpg

Finally, the insane gang got off ToT and told us how much fun it was (My mom doesn't like ToT and Joel's never riden it, he's too scared). Whatever. So finally, it's time for the BEST ride in the whole wide world...

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3344.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3345.jpg
Rock 'n' Rollarcoaster!

My mom, me, and Jonathan are the only ones who ride it, we rode it once before and fell in love with it.

So we got in the FPs line and had practically no wait. Soon we were about to sit down in our 'limo'. Jonathan and me in a row and my mom and a single rider behind us. The single rider was a girl around my age whos family didn't know they got in the single rider lane, but oh well. She was nice. I dont think she ever rode it before so we told her what it was like. Soon we moved infront of the big circle that you go through when you go from 0-60. Then we sat there for what felt like forever, they were trying to build up our nerves, so me and Jonathan just held on the the bars and whispered to each other how excited we were. Then it TOOK OFF. I can't even explain how fast it goes. It's like WHOA. Then you go upside down like 2-3 times. It really is a thrill! BEST RIDE EVER (well tied with EE). So after our AMAZING experience we went to get lunch at ABC (it's like the ONLY airconditioned Quick Serivce in HWS).

Jonathan got a cheeseburger:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3346.jpg

Joel got kids chicken nuggets:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3347.jpg

And my salad :] It was an Asian salad, it was okay, I didn't really like it.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3348.jpg

My parents both got A Bleu Burger:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3352.jpg

For desert, everybody but my dad had some chocolate desert:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3349.jpg

Continued on next post due to amount of pictures.

My dad had a strawberry desert:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3350.jpg

After lunch my dad, Jonathan, and I left and went back to the Poly to relax. My mom and Joel stayed to ride Star Tours,
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3368.jpg

Watch the Lights, Motor, Action show (which I hate with a passion, the first time I watched it, was great, but in my opinion, it's a show that you can't really watch more than once possibly twice.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3358.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3359.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3360.jpg

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3363.jpg

And I think they barely caught the Indiana Jones show (I wanted to see it, but I didn't this time :[ ) I dont think they took any pictures.

So while my mom and Joel were in HWS Jonathan and I were in the room relaxing. My dad had gone to ride the monorail a few times around (he finds it relaxing). Then. it. starts. to. POUR. Literally two seconds after the rain comes pouring down my mom and Joel walk in (did I mention THEY had the camera with them, so I had to wait to take a picture of our cute towel decoration!?). My mom tells Jonathan and me that my dad got stuck on the monorail because of the rain.

But, atleast I get to take a picture of our towel decoration!

It's a heart, held together with a lei and in the middle is one of Joel's old Webkinz dog.

My dad came back about 20 minutes after my mom and Joel.

You really should try watching Wishes from Poly's beach. It's less crowded, you're just looking in one direction, they're not as loud, you can even see Tinkerbell fly down the rope (she's only a little green dot, but you can still see) Plus the fireworks look awesome reflecting on the Lagoon! I would totally recomend it!

Teppan Edo!

Rating (1-10):
Dad: 8
Mom: 8.5
Me: 9
DB11: 7
DB9: 9

Thoughts/comments:
Me: Cool volcano, LOVE the Steak and Chicken!
Dad: Like how they cook it infront of you

Pros:
-Arrived LATE and were seated within two minutes of arriving
-AWESOME Steak and Chicken
-Sat in main room :]
-Our chef was cool
-I love our volcano!
-Chop Sticks are available! Yay!

Cons:
-Kinda hard to find
-In the same bulding as another restaurant (but, luckily, you couldn't tell once you were seated)
-If you are 6 people or less, you most likely will be sitting with another family/couple and they could be freakish/annoying, luckily we lucked out.

Ending Statement:
It was totally fun, and I WOULD recommend it! It had a few small problems, but they weren't big. It was on the hard side to find, but we got there. It was really cute and if you want to eat in one of the countries I would so recommend Japan!

SOOO... we headed off towards MK...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3382.jpg
And then towards Crystal Palace, but we stopped for s second to...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3383.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3384.jpg

Then we arrived at...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3397.jpg

We checked in a little early and waited for a loooong time. About 20 minutes, well, that's what it felt like.

So we took pictures:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3385.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3391.jpg

Finally we were called in. I really liked the way they call you in. Since there is SO many people waiting, it makes it easier, I guess. So, they have CM's come out with a slip of paper and they say "The [enter last name here] family, Pooh is ready for you!" The lady that said it to us was either French or British and had a cool accent :]

So we were seated on the right side of the huge room (if you were facing as if you had just walked in). Our table was good, it was realllly close to the buffet.

A little after we were seated, guess who showed up?! My FAVORITE Winnie the Pooh character, Tigger! Yay!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3398.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3400.jpg
(Yea, I get the characters to sign my book :D I used my signature book that I used in '08)

Then after Tigger left, Piglet came! Piglet is my mom's favorite character :]
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3401.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3403.jpg

Here are a few pictures of some of the food options.
Kiddie Plate (with shrimp):
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3404.jpg

Salad:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3405.jpg

Pizza, rice, mashed potatoes:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3406.jpg

A variety:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3407.jpg

Then I noticed the center piece, they had Pooh Bear, Tigger, and Piglet all made out of flowers! I only took a picture of Tigger :]
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3409.jpg

Soon, Egyore (sp?) joined us!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3413.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3414.jpg

Here is Jonathan's dessert:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3421.jpg

Then... Pooh joined us!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3430.jpg

What a wonderful dinner! Yumm!

After dinner, we rode some rides. Then we decided to go to the shooting range. We had brought lots of quarters with us, so my brothers were ready for some shooting!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3431.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3432.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3433.jpg

Some CM's kept coming out and adding 100 shots to each gun! So my brothers kept getting to shoot for free and free :]

While they were shooting my dad and I decided to play checkers:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3434.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3435.jpg

And then instead of us waiting for DB's, DB's had to wait for us to finish playing checkers, haha!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3437.jpg

Then we headed back to the Poly :]

I loved the update!!

I agree..there are some cons about Teppan Edo but overall it's wonderful. Since I moved from FL, I've tried 2 different Japanese places around Pittsburgh and they are good, but not as good as Japan!!
We always thought the service was a bit slow, esp. when it was time to get the check but it's also nice to sit and relax in the AC!!

Sadly, I've never eaten at CP. It was on my list of places to go to but I didn't make it..maybe for my December trip???

Day 7! Already!

Well, today was our 'relax at the pool day' it'll go pretty fast, so I'll include some of our dinner at Boma on this update!

Okay, so once we woke up my dad, Jonathan, Joel, and I headed over to the volleyball net (Finally, my wish has been fulfilled!). It was me and Jonathan against my dad and Joel.

My mom took some pictures of us playing- action shots!

Then we headed off towards the pool! Me and Jonathan came back to the room real quick to get some stuff, and we had come back we saw this towl HUMAN:

Love a day at the beach. It looked like volleyball was fun. Who won? Sheri really wanted to eat at Boma because of the hummus. She loves it, me not so much. I won this one. That was a good update.

Great update, again! I'm glad that you got to play volleyball like you wanted.

Those cheeseburgers looked really good. Your updates always make me hungry! :upsidedow

I also like the light-up straws at Boma. My son would love the Lightning McQueen straw for himself. I'm a grown woman, but I think I'd like to have the Tinkerbell one! Sometimes it's no fun to grow up!

We really debated between Chef Mickey's and CP. Sheri said CP food was better but she likes Mickey better. You know who won that debate. That was a good update. Love the pics with the characters.

Yeah, we ate at Chef Mickeys in '08 and it was fun but CP was fun also! They are both awesome places to eat. Thanks :]

Yeah, Japan's service was really slow. You should totally eat at CP on your December trip!

Crystal Palace! Fun! We had breakfast there once. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I always find that the character interactions at the meals were a bit harried, though, so our pictures never turned out too great. But you guys got some really great pictures!

Love your shoes that you're wearing by the way.

Yeah, CP was awesome!

Oh thanks! The shoes are reallly cute, right? I tired to get some that were water proof and wouldn't blister my feet. Well, they were water proof, but my feet blister in any shoe with a back on it. So walking so much in them gave me REALLY bad blisters. I had to wear atleast 6 bandaids on top of each blister (one per foot) and even that didn't stop my blisters from hurting. Once I even tried to put some 'New Skin' stuff on it and I barely touched my blister with it when my foot literally felt like it was on fire! Even now they aren't completely gone yet! Oww!

I loved our towel animals! We got one almost everyday! I was super excited! That really stinks that you only got one :[ Where did you stay? We stayed at the Contemporary one time and only got three different towel animals... a bunny, a butterfly, and a dog. They were all really small... I think it just depends on where you're staying and who your housekeeper is.

UPDATE!
So, we were seated at our table and our waiter got us our drinks. Then we were free to go and try all the African dishes.

Here are some of the foods we tried:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3499.jpg
(Do you see the rice? That's the famour Couscous that my dad and DB's adore)

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3500.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3502.jpg

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3505.jpg

And dessert...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3506.jpg
I LOVED those little cups filled with chocolate with the brown and white striped chocolate straw on it. I had like 20 of them they were sooo good!

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3507.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3508.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3511.jpg
(It looks like a SMILEY FACE!)

Boma was okay. It was nothing special. The best thing about it was the couscous and the chocolate cups for dessert.

After dinner we decided to go play miniature golf, Winter/Summer land. Well, it was pretty late but we got on a bus anyways and the bus driver told us that if we went to Winter Summer land the only way we could get back to the Poly was by a cab. Which, we were not doing. So he told us we could go to the Fantasmic one that's across the street from the Swan and Dolphin. So we went there. The CM bus driver was really nice and helpful, we were lucky we got a nice bus driver.

So we stopped in the Swan for a restroom break... here is my DB's and I infront of the Swan waterfountain:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3512.jpg

Then we crossed the street and went to the minigolf place. There were two different courses. The garden and a different one. I wanted to do the garden course but that wait was 15 minutes while the other one was only 10 minutes. So we did the other one. Boo. After 10 minutes we started and WHOA. You had to be a professional golfer to even get close to a hole in one! I think once I got it in after two hits and so did Jonathan, but that was it. That course was literally the hardest one in the history of courses. We lost our golfballs a few times but found different ones along the way. It wasn't all that great. I wouldn't want to do it again.
Here are a few shots:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3514.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3516.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3517.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3518.jpg
(Do you see what shoes I'm wearing??? My Rainbow flip-flops. I couldn't handle my shoes rubbing up against my feet any longer, plus I wanted my blisters to BREATHE instead of being uder 6 bandaids all day long)

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3520.jpg

After we finished all 18 holes we went back to the main desk and we got free golf balls with Grumpy on them :]
Then we walked back to the Swan and got on a bus. Our first bus driver had told us that once we got on a bus to go back we'd have to be dropped off at the MK and would have to take the monorail back to the Poly. Because if you're a MK bus you go back to the MK an hour after MK closes. So once we got on the bus (we were the only ones on) the bus driver told us "You know MK closes right now" we told him we knew. Then we realized that EVERYBODY would be boarding the monorail at the moment because MK JUST closed. We told the CM bus driver we were staying at the Poly and we told him about our mini golfing experience. He told us that he and his wife couldn't do the golf course we had just done either. So he knew how we felt. Before I knew it we had pulled up infront of the Poly. The bus driver told us "Since you couldn't master that course either, I'll drop you off here. I don't want you guys to have to wait for an hour to get on the monorail." So we got off the bus after thanking the CM a thousand times :]

This trip we had INSANELY good luck with Bus drivers! Our first one skipped Blizzard Beach and took us straight to AK. Then our Bus driver took us to the Swan and told us all the information we would need to get back to the Poly. Then our next Bus driver took us straight to the Poly instead of the MK. We were totally lucky!

So we headed back to our room and that was the end of day 7 :]

Crystal Palace :]

Rating (1-10):
Dad: 8
Mom: 8
Me: 8.5
DB11: 8
DB9: 7

Comments:
Me: I love Tigger!
DB9: Could care less about characters
Mom: Likes Piglet :]

Pros:
-Good characters
-Buffet :]
-Good service
-Nice location
-Our tables was in a good location

Cons:
-Food was alright
-nothing special that made it 'different'
-CROWDED
-Long wait

Ending Statement:
We had arrived early and had to wait a while to get in because it was SO crowded. We had a good time and I liked the characters (Tigger!). I would totally recommend CP, especially to people who have toddlers/younger children. I did enjoy that it is in MK, and in a prime location!

Yes, CP was great b/c you could see the castle while you waited on the porch to be let in. It was super crowded for breakfast! And it seemed to take forever once inside: waiting in line for the buffet, waiting for the characters. The parade in the middle kind of puts a halt on the character meet & greet, making your meal take even longer.

BUT, it was a lot of fun! All I can say about CP is, if you're going, plan to stay awhile!!!! :goodvibes

Yeah, it was a verrrry long meal. I agree, you have to have a lot of time open if you eat at CP because there is no way you are getting out of there in less than an hour I'd say.

Magic Kingdom time!

As you know, the monorails were broken down for a day or so because of a crash. My aunt had called us on our drive down and told us about the crash. Luckily, the monorail was back up and running the day we got there. But it wasnt up until the afternoon.

So that morning we took the boat to Magic Kingdom

Here are the pictures I took from the boat
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2970.jpg
one of the buildings at the Poly
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_2971.jpg

Continued on next post due to amount of pictures!

Cons:
-New foods

-Far away if you're not staying at AKL...

Ending Statement:
It was okay. My least favorite restaurant out of all that we ate at. I didn't really like any of the spicy/exotic foods. Although I did LOOOVE the chocolate cups for desert, YUMMY! All-in-all, it was okay, nothing special. Our table was in a good location, so it was good :]

Day 8 :[ Our second-to-last-day!

Don't worry, the title will be explained shortly!

Okay, so we made a 'game plan' on Day 7 for our Day 8. The plan was:
My mom, Joel, and my dad were going to go to EPCOT for EMH in the morning. While Jonathan and I stayed behind and slept late.

Well... that didn't happen. (Here's where the title is explained)
Apparently, DB11 got a stomach ache in the middle of the night. So my dad stayed behind and my mom and DB9 went to EPCOT.

Title is now explained.

So here's what my mom and DB9 did at EPCOT:
They had some breakfast...
And they hopped right onto Test Track AND 'Soarin! Lucky!

They came back to the room and joined us again. Once they came back, DB11 and I got ready to head to MK. As soon as we got to MK we headed over to our FAVORITE QS EVER... Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe! We love it there!

Here's our lunch:
This is what my parents had (I don't remember who had what, I forgot to write it down- shame on me!)
A wrap
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3524.jpg
And I have no idea (Again, shame on me)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3525.jpg

I had a cheeseburger! OMG! WHAT?! Yes, I had something besides Salad for lunch. I wanted a cheeseburger :] Can you blame me?
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3527.jpg

Jonathan had a hotdog
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3526.jpg

And Joel had the kids chicken nuggets
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3528.jpg

And our chocolate dessert:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3529.jpg

Here's Joel with his hat on the wrong way:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3530.jpg

After lunch we headed over to the Carousel, yay! Joel and I rode it while my dad and Jonathan got FP's for Peter Pan.

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3535.jpg

Then we headed over to the Hall of Presidents.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3536.jpg

Then we headed back to the Poly. To see this Towel... shell?
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3537.jpg
(Not as great as our other ones, I know)

Here's the Poly's beach:

The carousel was cute, that was my first time I went on it besides when I was younger and wouldn't be able to remember. You should definatly ride it next trip :]

The burger was delicious! But not as good as my salads!
Soups are good, I'm not a huge fan, but I like the normal kinds of soups. Especially on cold days :]

I know, the beach is to-die-for! It's probably the Poly's best feature.

Update time!
So this was our LAST Sit Down meal of our vacation! By this time we felt like we couldn't eat another bite, I mean Disney REALLY fills your plates! We were soo full, I was just excited to see the characters... kind of.

So we headed over to the beautiful Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! It's sooo pretty over there! I love it!

We were about an hour early, so we decided to walk around and check the place out. My mom and I walked around the main floor while DB's and Dad went on the elevator and went to the top floor to see the view. I'm too afraid of heights/elevators to do it :scared1:

We had a lot of snack credits left so once the rest of our 'party' cam back down we went to a little giftshop there and got some drinks:

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3546.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3547.jpg

And guess what DB9 spotted in the giftshop...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3545.jpg

AHHHH! I just HAD to get it! It was too AWESOME for me not to get it!! Did I mention, I went on a shopping spree this trip? LOL :]

So I got my AWESOME Yankee/Mickey pin, it's now one of my favorite pins, and we went back to the main room to sit down and relax before our dinner.

After about 10 minutes our buzzer started buzzing, so off we went to the check-in desk! Incase you have never been to 1900 Park Fare (but you have gone to Chef Mickeys) they take your picture infront of a mural of Cinderella's castle. Just like how Chef Mickeys takes your picture infront of a Big plate that says Chef Mickeys or something.
After our picture was taken we were brought to our table. All the way in the back in a smaller room that fit about 8-10 tables. We were the second to last table back. Lucky us.

After no time at all, Prince Charming joined us:
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3556.jpg
(hehe you can see Cindy in the background)
Prince Charming asked me if I was a Princess, which of course I am! He asked Jonathan if he was a Prince, which of course he is! And he asked Joel if he was also a Prince. Here was Joel's response "No. I'm a Pirate."
*Hand on forehead*
Prince Charming continued and asked him if he was a good or a bad pirate.
Joel's response "A bad one."
*Sigh*
Incase you couldn't tell in the Prince Charming picture, Joel has his hand like how a pirate has a hook for a hand. That is sooo him. :]

Prince Charming also asked us who our favorite Disney characters were.
I said Tinkerbell
Jonathan said Mickey
Joel said Goofy
Prince Charming said "Well, I guess you know Cinderella is my favorite character!"
Haahaa :]

(I guess you can tell Joel wasn't too excited about these characters)

After Charming left Cinderella joined us.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3557.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3558.jpg
Here was our conversation:
"Oh look! You are wearing blue, just like me!" *she points at my shirt*
"Cool!" (I wanted to say, "No, you are wearing blue, just like ME!" but I held it in!)
And DB's conversation:
Cindy: "Would you like a portrait with me?"
DB11: "uhh... I guess"
Cindy: "How about your brother?"
DB11: "I dont know."
Cindy: "Do you want a portrait?" *points at Joel*
DB9: "UGHHHH, fine*

Bye-Bye Cindy.

Then we left to get some food!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3561.jpg
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3562.jpg

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3559.jpg

And for desert:
Ice cream!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3565.jpg

Soon Drizella came over.
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3564.jpg
Haha, my brothers were kind of hesistant around her!

Conversation:
Drizella: *points to DB's* "You two are kind of cute"
DB11: *his face totally says 'freak!'*
DB9: *SIGH*
Drizella: "How old are you?''
DB11: ''11''
DB9: ''9''
Drizella: "Oh thats way too young for me. Maybe next year!"

Drizella: "So, do you want a portrait with me?! Well, of course you do!''

Bye-bye Dreadful Drizella!

Who came next? Anastasia of course!
Her and her insanely high pitched voice!

http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3563.jpg

Conversation
Anastasia: "Hi!"
Me: "Hi''
Anastasia: "Who are you?"
Me: "Sara"
Anastasia: "Okay! I would introduce myself, but I know you know who I am!"
Me: *roles eyes*
Anastasia: "Who are you?"
DB11: "Jonathan"
Anastasia: "That's nice"
Anastasia: "And who are you?"
DB9: "UGHHHH Joel"
Anastasia: "That's nice, you know who I am, right?"
Anastasia: "Well of course yo---"
DB9: "No."
Anastastia: "You're just kidding, I can tell!" *laugh*
DB9: *eye roll*

And last but not least, Lady Tremaine!
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3566.jpg

Truth be told, I have no idea what she said to us and what we replied with. I guess it wasn't that important.

So, I guess you are wondering what the second half of this title is about. Well, I didn't want to include it above, it needs to have it's own little section.
Let's get this mini story started!
Like I said, we sat at the second to last table.
Well, the people behind us were so loud and obnoxious.
Every time one of the stepsisters walked by they would start yelling and screaming to them, trying to make some "inside jokes" with the stepsisters. Well, if that isn't bad enough, the stepsisters are trying to interact with OTHER tables. These people apparently need to realize, the world does not revolve around them. Well, it got even worse while Anastasia was talking with us, these people were trying to get her to come over there. I was thinking "Would you people shut it, she is clearly talking to us, just give her two minutes and she'll be over there!" But no, they can't wait two minutes.
After a little while CM's started coming over to them asking them if there was anything else they needed. And eventually the Manager came over and asked them if they needed anything. You could clearly tell they were trying to get them out of there! They were just sitting there, plates empty, trying to get the stepsisters attention. Finally, they left. Thank Goodness!

Okay, Mini story complete!

Our Grand exit and some... hats??

Well! Sara I have just caught up!! you have done an excellant job on your report.
It has been very enlightening traveling w/you and your family through Disney!!!
You have done a great job with your resturant review!!! I agree with one of the PP that I can't believe your parents did not request a new room. But, at least it was finally repaired! Thanks for sharing your trip with us!!!

Thank you!
I think it would've been too much of a hassle to move all of our stuff to a different room, plus it was just a tile, nothing serious. It was fixed quickly. No worries :] Plus, we really didn't want to lose our amazing view!

Another update!

I had totally forgotten about our trip to MK after 1900 Park Fare, so now instead of us leaving the parks, we are Grandfully leaving the GRANDFloridian!

SOOOO... after our experience at 1900 Park Fare, we took our own little
self-guided tour of the place.

Here is a picture I took from the balcony of the second floor:

And here's me...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3568.jpg

And Jonathan...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff335/sjjruisi/IMG_3569.jpg

After a little while we GRANDfully exited the GRANDFloridian Resort and Spa!

And made a quick decision to hop out of the monorail and into the Magic Kingdom!

We watched a few minutes of the Spectromagic parade (I took a few pictures)

My dad and Joel decided to go ride POTC while my mom, Jonathan, and I went shopping for gifts for family members!
We got a blue hat and blue candy for some cousins, we got Mickey cups filled with candy for other cousins, we got a cell phone charm for an aunt, and so on and so on!

When my dad and Joel finally met up with us again, we went off to ride Peter Pan (we had Fast Passes, of course!) We got right on and enjoyed the ride...

After seeing Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and Captain Hook, all in miniture size, well except Tink, We decided to ride Splash Mountain! One of my favorite rides! We didn't have Fast Passes, so we just walked into the standby line, but wait! There was NO standby line! We got right into our log and took off! Joel was sitting inbetween my parents in the row infront of us because he doesn't really like the big drop, but he was going to face his fears and ride Splash Mountain with his family. Jonathan and Me, the ones who ride practically anything, were sitting behind them EXCITED! That's when I remembered... I didn't want to get wet. So I told my mom to give Jonathan and me our rain ponchos. She did and Jonathan and me put them over us. Aren't we SMART!?

FYI, it was late at night, it wasn't hot nor humid, so getting wet wouldn't help one bit of anything!

So, we went through the little cartoon scenes and then came to the huge huge huge huge hill... up and up we went... with the birds up there telling us we were going to die (isn't that just great?!) and then we FLEW down the hill! Everyone was screaming, but Jonathan and me knew better, we were too focused on making silly faces for the camera, haahaa! Then... as we were turning around, Jonathan and I glanced at each other real quick and pulled our rain ponchos over us... waiting for the boost of water to hit us... we could hear my family saying "no, no, go faster... don't hit us!" then...

BAM!

We were smacked with water... yet Jonathan and me were (mostly) dry. Haahaa!

Once we were out and into the opening, we could see the fireworks, right above us! How cool!

After Splash Mountain the fireworks were still going on so we all decided to head over to POTC and ride together. Again, we got right on and nobody else was in our boat/log/whatever it is.

In the gift shop my brothers tried on some Jack Sparrow hats:

(Told you he was a Pirate!)

After that, we headed back to the Polynesian, our last night in our 'home' at Disney World :[

Great Update! Spectromagic Parade looks so much fun! Smart thinking wearing the rain ponchos! Personally I love the ride part of water rides, but I don't like getting all wet, unless its a super hot day. I might have to buy rain ponchos just for that!;)

Head on over to my report. The link is in my siggy.

There's a blurry picture of him on page 1, close to the bottom. Sorry it's not better quality, but my camera doesn't take good pics at times...

The food was okay. After you've eaten pretty much everything in the variety they had, it gets kind of old. The characters and the ice cream was the best part.

We ate at 1900 Park Fare and I wasn't impressed at all. Didn't think they had a good variety and what they had wasn't any thing special. JMO!

Yes, it didn't really have any impressing foods, or any good varieties. It wasn't anything 'different' but it was a nice experience.

Great update!! Good idea to pull out the ponchos on SM!

Thanks!
:] We're always thinking!
