Hello all...Looking for help...Am I searching for a lost cause? I have a 40% off pin code and a room booked at CR. :yay: I am really wanting CL at a monorail resort. I have been calling everyday for 1 week now and nothing is available. They looked at my pin code and said that it good for CL just no rooms available. Anyone ever able to book CL with a 40% off pin code? We don't go til December so I have plently of time, just getting a little frustrated. Also I have noticed a big difference in CM personalities. Some dont mind searching for me and others make it sound like I'm asking for their first born or something. :confused3 Our dates a flexible within a 15 day time frame so some are happy enough to search multiple dates for me. Thanks for the help!!!!

We got WL CL for December with the 40% PIN, but it was the PIN that came out way back in January and at that time when we called, every single Club Level was available for our dates (the week of Dec 13)
We got another PIN last month and when we called to check on some things, there were no CL available at all. BUT....there are cancellations all the time and they release more rooms sometimes, so you can keep on trying and you never know what you may get!!:goodvibes

I was able to book CL at the Wilderness Lodge for 12/17-12/26 w/the 40% off passholder pin that was around last winter. I originally booked a non-CL room with the pin and was able to change to CL on May 1st. (despite the pin expiring March 31st) Good luck! :goodvibes

Is 40% discount the best they do for discounts? Dad gets that for being military. But it still put WL a little more than we want to pay for a room. Are there better deals out there?

That 40% is an AMAZING discount. When this deal is gone, who knows if it will be offered again. Are there "better" deals? Will have to see what WDW offers into the fall. I seriously doubt they will do better than 40% off.
Free dining is a deal, but the best saving are if you're staying value.
Have you considered staying at a mod, if the deluxe price isn't a good fit? We really like POFQ. Maybe that would be an option. Another possibility would be to split your stay, say, two days at a mod, and then 4 or 5 at the lodge.

Only prob is with older parents once there in a hotel, there is no moving till they go home :( I find it a bit of hassle switching too. We do have the POFQ booked for that time frame. And the iffy Holiday Inn (only because it would be brand new IF they open on time). One will have to go before the cancellation deadlines. We stayed at POFQ last trip and I've stayed there previously. Dad has always said he wanted to stay at the Wilderness but feels POFQ is expensive (130/night) and we found that the Wilderness would be 209-230 a night. Bit of a difference :(
Have you heard if the free dining can be combined with Military discount rated room? We already have ticket days leftover from our last trip. So don't need tickets. I thought the free dining required a package buy. If you don't need the ticket package maybe I could sell the idea of the wilderness if they're not paying for food.

Sorry, Disney doesn't allow double dipping. You have to choose either the room discount, or free dining (and pay rack rate for the room.)
You're going in Dec, right? That's a more expensive time to visit WDW. It's pretty then, though. :goodvibes

There might be Club Level rooms available if you were to do a room only reservation or a package deal, however there might not be any Club Level rooms available with the 40% off code.
Although I thought if you were e-mailed a code it's only good for a specific amount of rooms that they list, so if the Club Level rooms are not listed then maybe that's why you are not having any luck getting them.

We were able to use the military -40% room-only discount that is good until 12-23-09 for CL. We originally booked GF and later changed to CR, but I also inquired about WL and Poly and those were available at the time.
Keep checking with them everyday (don't be shy;)). You are right, most CMs are great:thumbsup2, but a few think that their job would be a lot better if it weren't for those pesky customers:sad2:. If you get one of those, just say, "Thank you", hang-up and then call right back.

Well, the "rack rate", aka full price, for our December reservation is $6479.70. That is for 9 nights at the WL, club level, from Dec. 17-26 and includes the Disney dining plan for 2 adults and 2 kids. (no tickets, as we are annual passholders)
With the 40% off code, we're paying $4520.02. So, nearly 2K off rack rate.
Seems to be a pretty good deal to me. :thumbsup2

We're staying CL at the Polynesian Dec. 13-19 and used a 40% off PIN but it was the one mailed out in January.
I had originally booked CL GV, then changed it to POR, then changed back to Poly GV (wanted CL but there wasn't availability at the time), then changed to Poly CL GV when it came available, which was in March, I think. Have I made you dizzy (I am :lmao:)
Some CM's were more willing to search for me, others I could feel their eyes rolling, lol. I would just keep calling every so often...I think I gave it a couple weeks in between calls. You might get lucky and find availability in a month or two. :thumbsup2
Good Luck!

Definitely register on their website, that is the best way, and you can even register with more than one e-mail address (using your spouses name, for example). I still receive "special offers" (pin codes) e-mailed periodically to a very old Hotmail account, with which I originally registered on the WDW website. However, I rarely receive the same offer or any other pin codes to the e-mail address with which I always make our WDTC reservations and with which I am also registered on their website. And, don't forget to check www.mousesavers.com periodically for the most current package and room-only public codes. It's a fantastic resource.
