FLA real estate agent/buying in FLA?

Hi everyone, can anyone reccommend a real estate person in Florida or have any of you bought real estate there and have pointers, tips etc...we are just dipping our toes into this idea as it just seems like such a great time to buy. any feedback is welcomed and appreciated, thanks in advance, Suzanne

We just bought a 4 bdrm home in Emerald Island Resort. We used Karyn Smith at Imagination Realty, she is excellent. Her site is very informative, it takes a while to go thru it all, but it's worth it and necessary b4 u dive into this. It's not for the faint of heart. We've had problems, but it's getting there. I'm actually in Florida right now buying stuff for the house!

I sent some info to another potential Cdn house shopper, I'd be glad to answer any questions u have. I tried posting on here long time ago, and didn't get an answers, so now I'm trying to help others go thru the crazy process that is a Cdn buying a US property. It was pretty stressful.
