Surprising call from our Guide

I had called back in March or April to ask about BCV, and was given a quote for an add on from our guide. Well, we missed out on the $5 per point rebate deal, and then the price increase happened. So, I figured that if we were going to add on (which we're not - too many credit card bills right now) that we'd be paying $80 per point.

Well, I was surprised to get a call from my guide saying that since she quoted me a price ($75 per point), that she was holding the price as quoted until July 1st (though no $5 rebate promotion). I was really surprised, because I thought that once June 1st came, everyone would be paying $80.

So, if you had a quote before the price increase, and didn't act on it (who am I kidding, my DH and I are the only ones who didn't jump on it, right?) then contact your guide, because you might still be able to get the $75 price.

We've heard of others getting the $75 price if they had a contact prior and the 1 July was mentioned several times. Just make sure they aren't holding your first years points to give you that price. Also makes me wonder if sales have slowed significantly.
