Arrgghhhh!

Signed up (and paid, of course!) for a subscription to Creating Keepsakes at the CKC Manchester show in mid-May. Here it is in mid-July, no issues yet and the subscription folks directly at the magazine have *never* heard of me - I'm not even in their system yet, two months later. A quick google search of KAS Publications shows others have had this problem before, dating back years. KAS now says subscriptions can take 90 days to start, although online folks seem to say it can even take lots longer. The CK subscription services rep I just spoke with said that sometimes subs to the monthly mags bought at the shows can take up to four months to start. Sheesh! :sad2:

Long story short - unless you want to wait a LONG time for your new mags - don't sign up/subscribe at the KAS Publications booth on the CKC show floor! The deal isn't THAT good for the drama of wondering when/if your subscription will ever show up...

Glad to know that we almost signed up in manchester and decided to think about it never made it back to that booth.
storytellers that we did sign up for there is still out of their totes and no clue when they will be back. the guy at the show indicated that it wouldn't be that long, i emailed them the other day and still no clue. I'm less than happy on that one, the tote was a huge factor for me. the ease of making a kit by just sliding in the pics and then zipping up the tote and off to a crop............ oh well guess I'll wait a little longer.

Denni also signed up and paid for the subscriptions at CKC Manchester. I'll have to ask her about it.

I did this 2 years ago. I had let my subscription to CK lapse, but the deal at the show was really great so I re-upped. I can tell by the label on my old issues that I must have received my first issue in August (following convention in May), so I'd keep your fingers crossed that next month will be your first issue. It did run the full year, August-August.
