Should I join AAA? I plan to go to WDW Dec 5-13 and am hoping for a free dining PIN. The AAA discount is "room only" Does that mean you can't add dining, or just that the dining is not discounted? Staying at the Pop with AAA should save me about $124 without locking me into anything, right? P.S. send me some Free dining PIN dust!

You can get a AAA discount on the room portion of a package at Disney by booking through AAA. So you can get a package that includes dining with a AAA discount on the room. But if you get a pin for free dining, or for any other type of discount then you can not also get a discount on the room portion of the package. Only one discount for any reservation.

To get the AAA discount you just call CRO and tell them you want the AAA discount, so you don't need to actually make the reservations at a AAA travel office with one of their travel agents.

If you want to add dining and tickets though, then it becomes a pkg and must be booked thru AAA directly

I have AAA but am planning on getting an annual pass.

I thought the room discounts may be better with it, plus the 10% off at World of Disney is a plus.

What do you think?

I can't imagine anyone not having AAA. It is great for discounts, true. But, it is even better for the service it provides. I wouldn't go anywhere without it! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I have AAA and am considering booking through them since we won't be renewing our annual passes. I have looked on their website but can't seem to find what their cancel policy is on a room only. Does someone know?

When I cancelled mine reservation they just followed the Disney policy 100 % back before the 45 day mark
