Leaving Sept 7th (Labor Day), I started packing this week. OK you can all say it I know you're thinking it. :dance3:

Okay, I'll admit to it too then. We don't leave until Sept 18 & we've been so many times I could pack in my sleep. But honestly, I told dh yesterday that I too would be doing a "practice pack" before long. Mostly because the cost of carry on luggage has gotten ridiculous & dh is taking his golf clubs. So, I am hoping to fit everything into one checked bag & 2 carry ons. :scared1:
We're going for 10 days, so there will definately be laundry involved.

I'm not going until October, but I do have a mental packing list going! Funny thing is, I'm more concerned about what to pack for WDW than I am for the cruise dh and I are taking in August!! :laughing:

don't think you're crazy at all - we're going Labor Day weekend, too. That's only just over 7 weeks away, ya know...and the older I get the faster time flies. It'll be here before you can blink!:thumbsup2

...while I have not actually started packing, I have been collecting things we'll need. Got a storage crate full of misc. lotions, cheapie ponchos, etc. I did check my vacation meds/toiletries bag last week, so technically that IS packed. I am soooo ready to go :woohoo:

Oh, I didn't mention that I keep A "Disney" bag packed 365/24/7. It includes all that little stuff. I truly only have to pack clothes & toiletries ( most of the toiletries stay packed as well)

I'm leaving for my first trip ever August 29th. I have been gathering things for over a month now. I am so excited I am driving my husband and son crazy! We have an annual trip we go on the first weekend of every August and I forgot all about it. My husband couldn't believe it!:yay:

You're not crazy. We went in March and I didn't completely unpack when we got back, so part of my stuff was ready for our June trip and I still haven't completely unpacked from then either, since we are going in Sept. I am sure when we return in Sept, most of what is lef tin the suitcase will stay there until our Dec trip.

I ALWAYS have my toiletry bag packed and just replace items when they are empty. You never know when you might jump in the car and take off for the weekend.

If you've lost it, then I'm on way way to the crazy house. I buy new t-shirts for us a little at a time through out the year for trips. On trip was originally planned for December 2008, but has been moved several times and isn't until November 2010. I actually already have a few things packed. As soon as I buy something that is for trip only, I wash it, then pack it, then put it on a list on the bag so I know what's in it.

I'm thinking, why did you wait so late! :lmao: I love to start the packing for WDW. After we returned in July, I just put all the World specific stuff in a box to be 1 step closer for our trip next June! :thumbsup2
