We will be driving from Vermont the end of Sept with check in on 10/2. I have heard horror stories about crossing two lanes to come in the main gate at MK. Can you use the 535 entrance? Has anyone sone this recently?? Are there grocery stores on that road? What others also.

Also I had planned on driving to the parks. I prefer my jogging stroller more comfort for me pushing and the kids riding (no getting stuck on rr tracks tree branches ect.) At one point I saw an offer from AAA on parking? Anyone know anything about it? Some type of card you hang in the window?

Please help. I have learned so much more on this site.

If you follow the signs into WDW and then to MK and FW make sure you stay in the right lane after you pass under the welcome sign. If you use the far right tool booth you can then just make a right turn onto the road to FW.

There is a back entrance but it is a little tricky. Follow the signs to Old Key West/Port Oreleans . They are both on Bonnet Creek Parkway. Follow Bonnet Creek past these resorts until it Ts into Vista Blvd. You only have a choice of turning left or right here. Turn left. (You will see the eagle pines golf course. ) There is a security booth just tell them you have a reservation at FW and they will wave you through. FW is just a short drive from here, on your right. We always use the back entrance now since we found out.

Hope this all made sense. Good luck.
