Shuttle & Ticket question

i know you probably heard this question like a billion times already, so im sorry for asking, but till what time do the shuttle buses work in the first 2 weeks of dec?
i'm going to stay at the Santa Fe hotel, and if the shuttle buses stop early, we're thinking about walking but is it safe (at night...in the dark)??
i've never done it before so i'm a bit unsure about this,

oh and im thinking of staying 6 days, i know theres a 5 day ticket, so if i decide to go to the park on the 6th, i need an extra 1 day ticket is that correct??

The shuttle buses will run until late at night as people will be returning from the village. However it is safe to walk at night

If you book a package you will get tickets included for as many days as you book
