Okay, another question. Are they offering any shipboard credits if you are a castaway club member? I read about that somewhere too. What perks do you get for being a member? Thanks for bearing with my questions!!:D

No, they're not. They provide Castaway Club members a logo gift for each cabin and a cocktail party onboard. I think the most recent gift is a beach towel (only one per cabin). :rolleyes:

I sailed DCL on 2/23/02 7 day and came home and booked the 7 day Western two weeks after I got home for 8/3/02. In the past I would have been eligible for a $200 shipboard credit.

I called to inquire the other day because I forgot about the credit and was told by DCL that the policy changed and I would only get the credit if I had booked while onboard. I was a bit disappointed.

Return cruisers also get a invitation to a CC club cocktail party with the Captain and ship officers (free food and drinks!) Make sure you mention when you make your ressie that you are a CC member. I told our original reservationist that I was but when I called to check on the credit, she said I was not listed as a repeat cruiser.
