do you know of a cheap hotel w/in walking distance of Universal?

Hello!

I have decided that after all my Disney trips, I want to see what is on the "other side of the fence" so to speak. Could anyone recommend a clean, nice hotel w/in walking distance of the Universal theme park? (particularly of City Walk)? I am looking for something that is $80 per night or less. It would be a bonus if it offered a shuttle to Disney.

For $99.00 you can stay RIGHT on property at Universal at the New Royal Pacific!! By staying in the onsite hotels you get Front of the line service this works even better than Fastpass!! And there is Bus and Boat service to IOA/US. Plus you will have a Fab pool!! You can do length of stay tickets or buy seperate tickets,or Flex tickets. Personally I am getting a $39 rate at a Hampton Inn.

It says (and of course that doesnt mean its EXACTLY true), that is is 1/2 mile from Disney.

Remember there is the IDRIVE Trolley, that could possibly help. (I've never used it, but that MAY work)

I'd love to stay onsite, but to go from $39 to $99 is a big jump. Plus we are going for 14 days, that would be a horrible budget increase.
