If prices are essentially the same, after using a coupon through the entertainment book, which would you use... Budget or National car rental? Does it make a difference at LAX? I think I remember reading somewhere that all car rentals are off site and you have to take a shuttle to the car rental area. Is this accurate?

Yep, collect your luggage and step out the door.. there are signs directing pick up locations for car rental shuttles. Wave down whatever company brand you are using, hang on for dear life as you ZOOOooooom to the car lot. :laughing:

If you can, choose a company where you can do a streamlined process/ preregistration. It will save you time waiting in line if it's busy at the lot.
Surprisingly we found that prepaying for gas often comes out cheaper per gallon than topping off the tank before you return the car. Plus it's one less hassle of locating a nearby gas station. Just make sure to get your money's worth by returning the car close to empty. :thumbsup2
