Does anyone know if this can be done?
while I am grateful we got the pin code for free dining, we really don't like doing that many sit down meals.......we are more counter service types. so can we use TS credit to get a CS meal?

ON our last night of our trip last year, we had 2 TS credits left and we went to Wolfgang Puck Express. They let us have 3 CS meals instead of the 2 TS. I was pretty happy about that!

during Free Dining promotions in the past, they have allowed an exchange of one table service for one counter service & either a merchandise item or 2 snacks. The first year that item was a lanyard for pins, the 2nd year (last year) it was a mesh tote bag. That was done during the August-September general public free dining...not during the winter pin-code offer.

However, many people report that they have been able to get credit adjusted as straight trades - one table service for one counter service - at other times of the year. There is no extra compensation...obviously if you have paid for the dining plan you are losing money trading down from table to counter service. But if the table service meals won't fit in your schedule, then they're wasted anyway so why not trade them down & at least get some value. The people who have reported success on this trade post that you need to go to the concierge desk at your hotel and make the request there -- you cannot get it done at counter service checkouts.

Have fun!
