I was going to call the airline, but thought I'd try here first.

Our kids sleep with a small (maybe 8 inches across) fan that they've slept with since birth (we originally used it to drown out noise and it just stuck). We are leaving in a few weeks for Bermuda and we havent' flown with the kids before.

Can I pack one of these fans in one of our checked bags or are things like that not allowed? If I can't pack the fan, would they allow a sound machine?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't think in your checked baggage is a problem.
Where are you staying? We've always been able to get a fan from Housekeeping w/ no problems if that helps.

Have fun!

Thanks for your reply! We are staying in St. George's at a time share. I'm not sure they would have fans to share, but I will check. Thanks!

I also thought that it should be fine, but I certainly don't want to arrive to find my suitcase rifled through and my fan gone :headache:
