My family and I are coming to Florida to help move my brother from Ft. Myers to the Sanford area. He wants to get us Disney tix as a thank you. Can he not do that since we are non-residents? I know adults need ID, but what about the kids? Would it matter if he goes to the park with us or not? Thanks for any input.

Technically a non-resident may not use a resident ticket.
Your brother should simply buy "ordinary" tickets for you.

Yeah, I figured that was in the "fine print"! lol. I just didn't know how vigilant the park was at verifying residency. If it was only at the point-of purchase, it'd probably be ok, but it sounds like every time one enters the park, a photo ID is required along with the ticket to prove residency. Guess we'll be paying more for regular tiks...and Disney goes CHA-CHING!!!
JMO, but it's a shame that Dis over-charges out-of-state visitors who already have the additional expense of traveling to The World to contend with. They should offer an out-of-state room discount or something. (FL res's get those too!) Hmmm, maybe a relocation to Florida is in order...
