Name Design Help

Hi all! Need some help here...
I am making an iron-on using the character alphabet letters. I am using photoshop and can't figure out how to do it. Anyone have any instructional information. My goal is to make a shirt for each of us, with our name on the back written out once each w/ our 5 fav disney movies. I'm not going to ask someone to make 15 total names for me, and have made other stuff, just not w/ PhotoShop. Any advice or help. All the names everyone does look wonderful, I just want to try it on my own. Thanks!!! :confused3
