When we went in Dec. 1999 we ended up in t-shirts with light jackets and jeans every day. The weather in December can range quite a bit though before you check it regularly and I would recommend dressing in layers.

My DD's 5 & 9 know that we are going to WDW, but they think that we are staying at ASMu or POR. We switched to the Poly with the free dining offer. We visited the Poly last year for Ohana Breakfast and Dinner and my kids fell in love. We just didn't want to spend the extra money, but with FD it is all possible. Thanks Disney! Going 12/15 - 12/21 and staying at POFQ. This is our second Christmas trip. We went last year during FD and it was great. I loved all the decorations. Then we went in April, at least the Flower and Garden show had Epcot decorated, but I missed those Christmas decorations - so, we're going back this year, too! I can't wait to see it all the parks decorated again. We are not doing the MVMCP this year, as we did it last year and once was enough. It was completely sold out the night we went, while I'm glad we saw it once....I do not need to do it again for awhile! Last year, it was warm enough to go swimming at night after the parks closed. I hope it is warm enough again for it this year!

I am not planning on dressing up and will be at ASMu the 9th through the 17 perferred room. We were at ASMu in July and did not have any issues with the buses. You might need to wait a bit a close but the buses run closer together so the wait wasn't bad.

Our group will be arriving on December 1st, and staying at the Pop Century. We are so excited to bring our kids for their first trip to Disney World. My husband and I honeymooned at WDW in 6/93, and visited again in 1/98, but this will be our FIRST trip with our kids who are now 11 & 9.

We will be traveling with another couple and their 2 children, ages 10 & 7, and a friend and her daughter who is 14.

We started marking off days on the calendar today and I've been obsessed with this and many other Disney websites for the past month or so. I have questions about the Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom, if anyone can tell me is this something we should get tickets for seperately and what is it all about. I did not find much info on it.
