Just got the call that all the paper work went through and we should be in the system in a few day. 150 BWV points. Can't wait to book our first trip.....bringing the whole family! Want to thank you for the informative posts that helped us make this decision. Already talking about adding points! :earsgirl:

Hi Matt's Nin, As someone who is considering buying into DVC through resale may I ask which agent you used or how you found the property? Did you make an offer lower than what the asking price was? Thanks.

We bought through A TimeShare Broker, Inc. The web site is www.atimeshare.com. Jaki took care of us. She was great. Made the whole process so easy. Yes, we did put in a offer lower than what they requested. Hope that helps!

I also used Jaki to buy and she did a great job keeping me informed of all the steps. Even though she represented the seller she really seemed to go the extra mile for me. The sellers had forgotten to bank 300 points from 2001 and had lost them. Jaki discovered this and alerted me to the fact that Disney might do a "one time contract forgiveness" waiver and put the lost points back. I paid an extra $600 and got 300 points back. The fact that Jaki knew about this and worked it to my advantage convinces me that I'll use her again for a resale. Also, if she knows what you are looking for, she can call you before it is actually listed on the web site.

Hi jt2323. You live in one of our favorite places to visit along with Disney. We have another ts at Lake Lure, NC and love the area and Asheville. We can't wait until the end of July for our week there.
