Free child ticket to SD zoo or wild animal park from Mimis

I got the following email today

San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park

Visit any Southern California Mimis Cafe location from now through Monday, August 31 and receive a voucher for a FREE Child's Admission Ticket with the purchase of an Adult Best Value Admission Ticket.

Anyone know what the exp. date is to use the tickets? I would like to be able to get one of these coupons but we won't be down in Cali again til October... :rolleyes1

I checked the website (Mimi's) and there's no mention of an expiration date. Just that you have to purchase your ticket (at Mimi's) by Aug. 31st.(So. Cal. locations only) I would assume that the tix would be good forever, since it doesn't say otherwise.

Also, there's a link for a free dessert with min. $10 entree purchase. Good July 11-18th.

If you can't get to a Mimi's by Aug. 31, something to think of if you are going to do both the Zoo and WAP is becoming a zoo member. For zip codes 90000-92999 it's only $28 for kids 3-12 and $32 for 12-17. Adults are $94 for 2 adults in same house, and $75 for one adult. If you are out of the above mentioned area, the adult prices are $109/$85.

The Kids membership inc. The Journey into Africe ($7 value), free Skyfari rides ($4 each time, I think), free bus tour. 4 issues of their magazine. Zoo admission alone, for 3-11, is $26. So the membership is a great deal. Oh, and it's 100% tax deductable. :goodvibes
