Merchandise PIN

Hello All,

Just read on another board about a Merchandise Pin that allows you to buy a gift card (or something along those lines) for $500 worth of Parks merchandise for about $395.

Has anyone in Canada received one of these? I only ask because I have heard that PIN distribution is often geographic and I was trying to figure the odds of me getting one :).

It looks like the pins are being sent to people a few weeks before vacation. It looks okay, I think I could be persuaded to get the $500 one:goodvibes
Haven't noticed geographic locations yet, I just read about this pin a couple days ago for the first time.

I would for sure get this if I received the pin. I have already received my pin code for the free dinning so I don't know if I would be lucky enough to receive this new gift card pin. I will keep my fingers crossed.:cool2:

Wow... I do not think I would ever spend that much on merchandise.. unless the gift card could be used for meals and such.. too me that is just too much $$$

I hadn't heard of this one.

I think I would get it if you could :
1...use it towards food and tipping and 2...you could save any left over balance for a future trip.

My kids have to bring their own spending money and they each bring about $100. So we could pool our money to buy the card.

That is my one concern is would you be able to use it towards other things? Is it like a gift card to be used on what ever at a Walt Disney Owned property? I did already receive a pin code for free dinning that we have added to our reservation in Nov so I would like this card for things like extras you know, (Goofy's Candy Co. etc).:rotfl2:

I think I would still buy it. We have a party of 7 in total going and we could split the cost and it would be worth it I think for the 1000.00 card.

Again keeping my fingers crossed and wishing for some pixie dust. :wizard:

I would love to know more about this cause I easily spend well over $500 at the parks on merchandise each trip. So I think I would use this for sure if I received it.
