WestJet changed our flight time to Orlando

Just got an e-mail from WestJet saying one of our flight times was changed. Well when I looked up our reservation our flight from Toronto - Orlando this December got changed for the better. We were originally supposed to leave at 10:35 AM and land at 1:22 PM. However we are now leaving at 9:45 AM and landing at 12:30 PM, so we will get to Orlando earlier then we thought.

We had the EXACT same flight change here for our vacation in Nov. When I called, I asked how much they would chrage me to get on an even earlier flight (8:30) and they said nothing, that's right, no charge because it was their end making the initial changes.
So, instead of the usual 1:30 arrival, we are getting in at 11:15 am!:cool1:

Just logged on to check our flights in February and our time was changed also. Which is great but since we are leaving in Halifax and connecting in Toronto if our flight is late we aren't going to catch our connecting flight.

We had a 2 hour layover time and now we just have an hour.

Hopefully this won't happen but my dad was saying if our flight was delayed a bit and we left just before or after 10:30 AM it wouldn't be a big deal, because we were originally going to leave at 10:35 AM.

By any chance was your return flight also changed to an hour earlier? Our flight now leaves from Orlando to Toronto an hour earlier then our original flight.

As of right now that flight time has not changed, however the flight number did change.

WOW I am so glad that I check my DIS on a regular basis, with the Canadian one being the 1st thread i check just in case someone out there knows something i don't. WELL this time it is significant. I just called Westjet and my flights have been changed as well. Outgoing flight same as yours and I agree an extra hour is an extra hour.

Returning flight OMG they had me on a flight that left at SEVEN A.M.!!! Originally it was supposed to leave at 9:45 p.m. so i am planning on eating breakfast AND lunch on site, I FREAKED but he check and was able to change my flight to one that leaves at 9:05 p.m.
