Please tell me we can find otters at the Fort. I have heard that I can set out beer and they will steal it :lmao: when I'm not looking, but we want to SEE some! :magnify:

One other question - do they like Margaritas? Or will I be safe with those??

Ive seen otters from the marina at the fort...fairly early in the morning. The were in the lake about 60 yards out and seemed to enjoy the wake from the boats. Are they always there? I doubt it....but they tend to stick to there own territory...so they are always close, Im sure....just keep your eyes on the surface of the lake.

Those aren't Nutria......they're Otters. On our last visit, I asked them what they were and they smiled, (no orange teeth were present as with the Nutria) and they had beer breath.

They are definitely Otters.:thumbsup2

A nutria is a rat. An otter is a weasel. Rats eat anything. Otters eat seafood. Nutria drink kungaloosh. Otters drink beer. Any questions?

Otters have a definite seafood flavor. Nutria, on the other hand, have more of a rodent taste. Don't try to fool me with photoshopped pictures. The taste was definite rodent. Those are nutria.

If you have enough Frank's Hot Sauce, it all tastes the same.
