Michi, your ATC's look wonderful!

As for editing your slideshow, when you are at the main page of your pictures for that album, there should be a picture that says it's a slideshow. Click on the edit button and it'll pull up a screen which shows the pictures in that album, the pictures you've chosen for the slide show and the actual slide show. To add more pictures, just click on the ones that you want to add and it'll put them in the box at the bottom. You can then drag them in that box into the spot you want them. Then, just click save slideshow.

Well, I went the the 7 hour crop this afternoon/ evening and got a whopping 2 groups done, plus a layout. Takes me forever to get ATC's done due to all the details I try to put in them. It was easier to see there due to the lighting and there was lots of space. I'm going again next Saturday.

I was rather out of place, though. Everyone else, I swear, was doing layouts of babies sucking on their toes, and I was sitting there doing this far-out stuff! I think they thought I was wacky...And, I'm beginning to thing they're probably right!!

OK, that's fine, Michi....It will save me time, too.

BTW, I was really laughed at at a crop on Friday and Saturday for several things...1) For having what was percieved to be the world's biggest tape runner with comments like "You really take your adhesive seriously!" (no, it's cheaper to use the ATG was my comment). 2) For doing the ATC's...No understanding of why anyone would do such a thing, etc. 3) For the subject matter....Actually, the subject matter of the one I was doing right then really fit the mood of appreciation of the beauty of living in the US on that day, 9/11.

I was thinking I really wished I was at a crop with people on this Board as I don't think I would get the judgemental-like comments, or at least people would accept me as being OK with the way I do things. I'd really love to try to go to SDV next summer...It's one summer when I could get away at that time since I will it's one I don't have to prepare for an international competition....(This year we do a swan song performance as outgoing champs, but next year will be our year out).

I have to say though, this swap has been terribly difficult for me. Only a select few sent their items in organized. A lot of people just threw their stuff in a bag with no name,no group names, nothing marked on their baggies. Plus, recycled bags. I don't mind the recycling, but at least mark off the names that were on there before. This has been SUPER confusing & inconvenience. Mischief_Managed was here with me to help swap everything out. She couldn't believe how lots of them were sent in either.

I'm quite dissapointed & I hope I don't have to get a confusing swap again. I don't have a lot of rules, but maybe I need to have them now. I appreciate everyone playing, but I just wish people had a little more thought into their packaging.

I don't want to put a sour note on this or make anyone upset, but I just want to be honest. A lot of hostesses have tons of rules & everyone seems to abide by them. The inchies were the most difficult. If you are not going to seperate them in the future, your name needs to be on them & your name, swap group name on the ZIPLOCK baggies.

I hope you all can understand where I'm coming from.

I thought it was understood that every swap on this board was supposed to be individually bagged and well-labeled. It used to be. Better add it to the directions if you do this swap again.

Sorry, you're having a hard time. I would suggest PM'ing people who didn't do that and ask them to assist with your sorting.

I'm sorry for your headache with this. Rules stink, but this is one of the reasons why there are so many of them. If things aren't spelled out, chaos rules. I know I have learned the hard way about making sure I have instructions for almost everything. Even then, they aren't always followed. Not that makes you feel any better.

With the waiting for money, just hold that person's to the side until you get it. The rest can be sent out for those who remembered to include the postage.

Next time, take the packaging & shipping rules from one of the other swaps and copy and paste it into yours, modifying as needed. I think you did have some new to us swappers who have not seen the rules from other swaps before. I'm sure that has contributed to the confusion.

What a :headache: for you, no wonder you are :mad: I used some recycled bags because I was running out of small ones and big ones just bump up the postage so much when you're sending as many as I am as far as I am but I thought I'd taken all the names off - if I missed one I'm sorry.:guilty:

I've got the same thing, except it started with the troat (which is still not better). The NHS website said it might be swine flu (oink!) or might not. But I don't fancy tamiflu - all it does is reduce 1 day and horrid side effects. I just stayed in with hot lemon and honey:thumbsup2 Oh and killer codeine doses:rolleyes1

For some reason, though, it seemed like a very short trip with 2 hours spent at each of AK, DHS, & DTD....The rest at the resorts, MK, and Epcot for Halloween and Food and Wine. I think I spent too much time in between the parks taking care of issues which took away time from the parks.

But, oh well.... I will be going back at the end of next month into early December for an early holiday celebration with good friends coming down from PA. We have a lot of special things planned.

BTW....Thanks again for hosting this swap! Hopefully, your next one will run smoother.

Michi is planning on hosting one for USA State ATCs in March(early next year). We are just at the point where we are winding up most of our swaps to get ready for the holidays, many of our swappers have little time in the fall and so our swaps tend to be smaller and there are less in the fall.
