I feel so special!! Finally a postcard!

Today we got our first WDW postcard!!! :D I feel so special! ;) It's good for deluxe resorts only, so we're going to try and change our Royal Pacific to the Wilderness Lodge. I'm excited to try WL, and now we'll get even more use out of our AP's! :D


UPDATE:

Well, I'm really upset now! :mad: I called and gave the CM my code and PIN # and he said I COULD get WL for my dates... so I hung up and called my husband.... then when I called back they said it was NOT good for our dates. :mad: I swear, CRO must be full of idiots. I told myself I was never calling them again (after my disaster in April). Why do I always get wrong information when I call there???? :confused:

Oh well, back to waiting for the AP discounts next month. :(

The same thing happened to me this past spring when I received a post card for the WL! It's frustrating.

Try Again! My motto is if I like what CRO has told me the first time, I grab it and tell hubby later. Ressies can always be cancelled but CRO may not have what you need later.

I learned through many years of traveling experience, If you get a rate that is in the range that you want. MAKE A RESERVATION. You can always call and cancel but it may not be there when you call back.

TigrLvsPooh - Go for "third times a charm!" Call again - maybe you'll get lucky and get your dates at WL. If not, ask what IS available for your dates. Would they do an "upsell" for you, since you just got the card and the WL is already booked. It's worth a try!:D
If they have anything that is close to you budget, needs - grab it! Like everyone else says, it is very easy to cancel. Good luck!:cool:

Please keep calling back and checking. I recently made ressies and while I was on the phone with CRO the resort I wanted wasn't available. So we kept on talking about disney stuff and looking at other resorts, when all of a sudden the resort I wanted "popped" into the system. The CM said there must have been a cancellation at the very moment were were chatting! It was so funny...you never know what's going to happen when calling CRO, but I've always seemed to have good luck. Now if only I could get one of those postcards, I would love to upgrade to a deluxe!!!! :D
