DVC- points for hotel stays

My cousin has 200 DVC points which she has offered to us as we intend to stay at Disney for one night at the end of Sept.

1. Is it possible to use these points?

2. If so, how would we use them towards our stay at the GF? Can we use them for an upgrade? Discount?

Sorry for these dumb questions, but I have no idea how this works

You can use these points, but your cousin will have to make the reservation for you. She should have a Member's Guide Book, which tells how many points are needed @ each resort during different times of the year.

Post on the other DVC disscusion board and you will get more answers. This board is for renting/trading points, so a moderator may end up moving this post there for you.
