Lynn & Tim's January 2-11 PTR!!!

:dance3: Welcome everybody!!! Tim and I are yet again heading back to the world!:dance3:

For those of you just joining in on our adventures let me introduce the cast.

Me! Lynn or Lynnie, what ever you want to call me is fine with me
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/012-2.jpg

I'm currently training for the Half Marathon in Disney, on January 9th! I have always been a runner, but this year I wanted to get more into it. I started doing some races. I have done 3 5Ks so far this year. In the fall I will be doing a 10K, and the Philadelphia Half Marathon! My goal for the Half in Disney is to finish in 2 hours. Under 2 hours would be even better. I know I can do it. Each month I feel my body getting stronger, and I'm running quicker. It's amazing.

I also just started school, which I'm very proud of. It is something I have always wanted to do. I'm going for Elementary Education. Just started yesterday, and I love it! I just have one class in the summer, and in the fall I will be full time with four classes. I work nights in a hair salon, so it works out great with my schedule.

My fall semester ends Dec 21st, and Spring starts Jan 15th. What a great way to end the fall semester, and the New Year with a trip to Disney!

This is my hubby Tim, you will see I call him Timmy a lot. I have to post this picture because this is Tim. Always has some type of face in every picture lol.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/wedding%20reception/IMG_3287.jpg

Those of you who don't know, Tim is known as the pin guy LOL. He is obsessed. I will have him post his pin collection later, along with mine. It's a fun hobby.

Tim went to Disney for the first time with me back in 2003. He loved it there so much. Ever since, we have been going every year. We love it, and we have a blast every time we go. Because we have been so many times, we love to stop, and smell the roses in Disney. There is actually some things we still have not seen in Disney. We will never get sick of going.

Here is a recent picture of the two of us together.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/wedding%20reception/IMG_3108-2.jpg

We were married in Disney at the Boardwalk Resort on May 7th, 2008! We started dating when we were 16 on May 7th, 2000. Feels like just yesterday we started dating. Time goes by so fast.

We're new DVC members as well. We joined last August. Our home resort is AKV. We love it. What a way to save money. I think DVC is very affordable. It's a great way to stay deluxe, and go twice a year.

Ok so on with the plans so far!

WHEN: January 2-11!

I'm very excited because The Osbourne Lights, the Christmas parade in AK, and the Characters dressed in their Christmas costumes at Camp Minnie Mickey will be going on until Jan 3!! So YAY we will get to see some of the holiday festivities. Can't wait.
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p196/msqt4/Disney%20Christmas/DisneyChristmas173.jpg

WHERE: We will be staying at Saratoga Springs.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/October%20Disney/DSC01549.jpg

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/October%20Disney/DSC01551.jpg

We loved it there when we stayed last October. I requested that we be in Congress Park. That is my favorite section. We love being so close to DTD. I'm looking forward to getting my runs in, early in the mornings at the resort.

FOOD: We will be on Deluxe Dining for the first time. Looking forward to it. We are going to be eating at a bunch of 2 TS meals for dinner so it will be worth it. Plus I just love that the food is already paid for, and I hate when you run out of points on the basic because you had dinner at a 2 TS meal.

We have annual passes, and our stay is paid for, so we will only be paying for our flights and food. So it's ok to splurge on the deluxe.

I will post where we will be eating in my next post.

FLIGHT: We will be flying with South West. Have to wait to book our flight because our dates are not available yet. We will take an early flight there, and a late flight back home.

PLANS: Not to much planned right now other than the race. I will be meeting with a bunch of my friends from the DIS. We don't have a set plan yet, but there will be a big meet, and some mini meets as well. There is a new Segway tour that we want to do at Epcot. Not sure about all the details, but I think it is 3 tours in one. Have to look into it. The plans will be more set when I can make my ADRs, and see park hours.

Well that is all I can think of for right now. Next post I will be talking about the restaurants we plan on eating at.

I am excited to be in on this report from the beginning for a change. :yay:

I was considering running the Princess half in March but I don't think it is going to happen. Maybe reading about your preparations will inspire me to reconsider. :)

I am so on the fence with DVC, I think I just need to give it some time.

Can't wait to hear all about your plans.

I was going to ask if you have ever worked in a salon before, your hair styles in the parks are always so pretty! We love it down WDW during the Christmas season, we normally go the 3rd week of December, the weather is so nice and the decorations are absolutely amazing! This is the 1st year we won't be going in December, but we're planning on going to the F&G festival next year with a bunch of other DIS'ers! :thumbsup2

Lynn-I'm going for accounting, maybe eventually be a CPA. I'm probably only going to take one class to begin with because I work 40-45 hours per week, fortunately my employer is willing to work with me on this, plus I am going to probably take the class online so if I really had to I could do homework on vacation.

Just out of curiosity, do you remember what you put as your anticipated finish time when you signed up for the half? I put 3 hours, but am definitely shooting for under that. I want to get to around 10 min/mile so I can have plenty of cushion in case any cute characters distract me

Yay you started your PTR! I was going through withdrawals! You are so lucky that you get to go in January. I would love to go down to WDW during Christmas and see all of the decorations. I keep hinting to DH that a weekend getaway in December would make for a nice early Christmas present lol.

Good luck with school! It will be worth it once you are all done. I teach 5th grade and love it.

Tori that is great. Good for you. Be very proud of yourself. Glad you're employer is supporting you. That is great. HAHA you sound like me. That would be me sitting in the room at night in Disney doing homework.

Aww Lynn, I had no idea you & Tim have been together since you were 16!! My BF and I have been together since we were 15 (2004.) I love hearing of other high school sweethearts! Hi! Welcome. Thank you very much, I'm looking forward to the race.

I will let you know how deluxe dining works out. I know I will not be able to eat that much food, but I think it's worth it. I think if you time your meals out right, you will be fine.

It is so nice in Jan. It's like spring time in NJ.. in the 70s. Perfect. Just get's a little cool at night. So happy to get a chance to see the decorations as well.

Yeah I'm so happy to be going. That major sounds cool.

Yay! You started a pre-tr!

Just out of curiosity, do you remember what you put as your anticipated finish time when you signed up for the half? I put 3 hours, but am definitely shooting for under that. I want to get to around 10 min/mile so I can have plenty of cushion in case any cute characters distract me

HEY! I put 2:30 hours I think, but I have to prove I can do it in that time. So after the half marathon in Nov I have to call them with my time so I can change it.

Oh I will not stop for the characters lol. As tempting as it will be, I want to keep going. Once I start a race, I don't stop till I hit the finish line lol. I think a 10 min mile is a great pace.

Aww lol. Yeah me too haha. You should go, that would be an awesome picture.

OOh how are the fifth graders? I'm leaning towards the younger ones, but I don't think I would mind teaching 5th grade. I would love to do kindi or first. They are so cute.

Lynn,
do you mind if I ask how much is was to add the Dlx Dining plan? I am guessing you added the AP plan....we have thought about it and thought about it....but its such a huge chunk of money up front.;)

I have noticed that every time I call Disney to make a change to my ressie I get offered/bullied almost to add the deluxe dining plan...but they never quite come out and say how much it is...;) I think its about $950 for AP for our 7 day stay....:teacher:

I think the deluxe is $70 a day. I think. We are going 9 nights, and it's going to be like $1000 for the both us. That is crazy!! But, it's all we are really paying for, and we love Disney food. We would most likely spend more than that anyway, plus having the meals paid for already is so nice lol.

Hi Lynn,
:banana:popcorn:: yes you have another PTR , just got to say I enjoy reading both you and Tim TR so yay !!!!!!!!

Hey! I don't know much, I have to find the thread I found on here about it. I heard that you do the segway tour, then you do a little bit of the behind the seeds tour, and something else. Once I get more info I will post about it :)

Can't wait to see where you are planning on eating. I'm sure it will make me want to change some of my ADRs for our September trip. But after the ADR drama I had (I still need to update my PTR) I don't think I will be making any changes.

Add me to the group! I thought about running the half marathon last January when my cousin did it (being a non-runner - this would require lots of training) - maybe 2011.

I pick when I eat. There are only a couple meals I can finish. You know what I have to stop doing before I eat..stop eating the bread lol.

Thanks Rach. I am very proud :) Oh I have to post a picture of my new bag that I'm using for school. It's a new pattern.

We're going next Friday. I cannot wait!! :cool1:The trailer looks SO good. The sixth and seventh books are my favorite. I don't know what I'm going to do when I see the first part of the seventh one and then have to wait for the second part. I'm glad they decided to do two movies to make sure they don't leave a lot of stuff out from the seventh book. But man...that wait is going to kill me!!! Because I am a crazy person who plans ahead all the time, I have my restaurants picked out already lol. I don't know what dates we will be doing yet, I have to wait for the park hours to come through. And because of the meet, I think we are all going to Ohana the night of the race, Ohana will most likely not be on our first night like we always do.

Breakfast

Crystal Palace- Love the food here for breakfast. Minnie's puffed french toast is delicious lol. Bad for you, but very good.

Kona- Tonga Tonga Tonga TOAST!!!!!!! I have not had it from here yet. I have it delivered to my room when we stayed at the Poly, and at Captain Cooks. No matter where I get it, it tastes amazing. We have done dinner at Kona as well, it's so good. OOh and I want to get the juice they offer at Kona for breakfast.

1900 Park Fare- This is new for us! I think it wil be fun to dine with some different characters. Alice, The Mad Hatter, and Marry Poppins are there. Not sure if anybody else is.

I did not pick a lot of breakfast places because Tim is not a big breakfast eater:mad: HAHA if it was up to me, we would be eating it more than 3 times at a sit down restaurant.

Lunch

Sci Fi- Love it to death here. Tim does as well. It is a must for him. I plan on going as soon as they open, at 11. It was so nice when we went that time in May. I'm definitely getting the BLT soup again, and my favorite dessert. It's some chocolate cake with warm peanut butter in the middle!!! YUM

Liberty Tree Tavern- This is new for us. The lunch menu looks really good. I think it will be a good place to try. The lunch menu looks better than the dinner menu to me. More variety I guess.

Yak & Yeti- New as well. I love reading reviews on Yak & Yeti. The place looks cool, and the food looks very good!!!

Biergarten- Must for us every trip

Coral Reef- We like the coral reef a lot. We want to go as early as possible. Last time we had dinner here it was a little loud, so I think if we go for an early lunch it will be a little more quiet.

Dinner

One TS places

The Wave- Um yeah this is like one of my new favorite places to eat. So good

Ohana- Always a must

Chefs de France- LOVE it. I love the inside of the place, and love the food.

Tutto- My favorite pasta dish is there.

Garden Grill- Tim really wants to eat here because of Chip & Dale. I hope I like the food because most of it is stuff that I don't eat, but I think it is worth a try. I also think it's cool that the restaurant rotates.

Two TS places

Jiko- So sad I did not try this in May. What was I thinking canceling this one? lol I'm getting the filet with mac and cheese

Brown Derby- I love it there!! Tim loves the crab cake from there. I love the banana dessert, I forget the name of it, but it is good!!

Yachtsman- Can't wait to try it here. Tim was drooling reading the menu.

Narcoossees- I'm really looking forward to this meal. Tim want's to get the surf and turf.

Counter Service Meals

Sunshine Seasons- A must. Not sure if we will do lunch or breakfast

Wolfgang Puck Express- This will be new for us

Earl of Sandwich- Love Earl!!

Pizza Planet- We love it there

Cosmic rays- love it

And we may make a stop at casey's corner.

We will have 18 snacks each, so that is going to be a lot of Dole Whips, Mickey Heads, and Raspberry Lemonade icees lol

Perfect timing!!!

I'm so glad you just updated your TR with dining, because I have a question for you.

I know you haven't done Deluxe Dining yet, but we are considering it for our trip in December because we would get to eat at so many Signature restaurants and only spend like $150 extra per person over what we would pay for the basic DDP.

Typically in WDW, we aren't huge eaters. We had the DDP in 07 when it still included the app, entree and dessert and just thought it was SO MUCH FOOD. But, for $100, even if we have to box up the dessert and eat it for breakfast and just skip it all together, it still seems like a good deal.

Do you think we should do it, or don't you? It'll be me, DH and DM and max we would have 2 reservations each day---early lunch and late dinner.

Wadda ya think? I need some expert advice. How did you and Tim decide to go with the DxDDP this time around??

I would definitely go for it if it's only going to be an extra $150. That is not bad at all. I would also do either a breakfast & dinner sit down, or early lunch and dinner sit down.

We decided to go with it this time because we want to try a couple of the two TS places, and we want to try a couple of new restaurants along with our favorites. it is annoying, well to me it is, to use up all your points and have to pay OOP. It just doesn't feel right to me lol. Maybe it is part of my OCD LMAO!! It's just nice to have it pre paid, then you feel like you are kind of eating for free.

Tim also always gets an appetizer, so at least with deluxe, they are included. Oh and so are your resort mugs :)

I think your food reviews are my favorite thing. I would have never thought about The Wave until your review. I think you had a picture of a steak( i'm not too sure) and my hubby thought it was a beautiful piece of meat.

Believe it or not, we've NEVER eaten at any of those restaurants... we are headed to Kona on August 2nd, 2009 tho....I'm looking forward to trying that TONGA TOAST... I"ll def. be reading your dining reviews. I can't believe Tim isn't a big breakfast eater.. I LOVE BREAKFAST!! It's my favorite meal of the day.. dbf and I used to go to a restaurant here in Ottawa that serves breakfast 24/7 and we'd order it at like 11pm-2am..

Lunch

Wow, The only one out of all Dinner options we will have experienced is Jiko.. were' i'm really looking forward to eating the Filet and Mac'N'Cheese.

ohhh... we have so many more restaurants to experience.. this calls for an early May trip for us!!! :lmao:

Do you eat fish?

Counter Service Meals

We'll be doing several of the same places as you when we go in November. We would be doing more of those places if I could just convince DH to get the DxDP. :sad2: We're doing the regular DDP for the first time this year, and I just cannot convince him to go deluxe. We are staying at the Poly, so I will definitely be loving me some Tonga toast! I have never had it, but I always drool over the pictures. I have to say, DH and I did not care for Yak & Yeti. We ate there right after it open, and we just felt it did not live up to all of the hype. I know a lot of people LOVE them, though, and I hope you enjoy it! We did Coral Reef for lunch. It was very quiet. I think our ressie was around 1:30. I love Crystal Palace for breakfast! That is where we're eating for by b-day! :yay:

Hey, Lynn! Goodness gracious,girl-you rock with your reports. I was so excited when I went to the told thread and read that you had already started this one!:woohoo:
It's really cool to hear about your running. I tried getting into it earlier in the year, but kinda stopped.:sad2: I really need to get back into it. When I first heard about the Disney half, I told my husband that we needed to make it our goal to run in Disney. You've inspired me to get back on track and maybe even try and make the 2011 half!:thumbsup2
It looks like y'all are going to be doing a ton of eating, but I don't blame you. If airfare and food are all you have to pay for, then I would definitely splurge on the deluxe as well. I've also been meaning to tell you that because of your great reivew of The Wave from your last report, the DH and I decided to try it out on our trip in September. We have an ADR for the very first day we're there!!

Thanks for the info, Lynn. I think we're going to go for it, the more time we spend relaxing, not running around the parks like crazy people---the better (for DH anyway ;)) Now I just have to decide between all of the awesome places---suddenly, 15 meal credits per person doesn't seem like very much at all :rotfl:

Hi. Where are you staying when you go? January is a nice time to go.

Thanks for reading.
We are staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge which will be a first for us!. We are Boardwalk and Beach Club DVCer's and normally stay over that way!

Very, very excited.

We haven't been in January for awhile because of our daughter's school conflicts, but she will be starting college this fall and doesn't have to go back until January 19 after Christmas Break which gives us plenty of time to hit Disney!!!

I'm so excited you've started your PTR! I'm also VERY jealous that you get to go in January -- that's when we went for our honeymoon, and I LOVED it! Unfortunately, being a school teacher means that we won't be able to go on our anniversary...until I become a college professor! :goodvibes

I'm anxious to hear how deluxe dining goes for you two. We are getting free dining on our trip in August - a first for us! I have a feeling that we'll be spoiled rotten and want it from now on! :thumbsup2

Good luck with all your training for the half -- I'm jealous! (I seriously think that I'm not made for running.) I'll be wishing you well!

HUH? How do they not focus on that? He does find out in the movie right?

I'm sure he finds out. It's part of the plot (obviously, it's the title!) but the person who wrote the review said it wasn't mentioned as much as in the book. That could just be that person's perception though.

Dining plans look great! I think you'll like Yak & Yeti. I went when it first opened; we got a couple appetizers to split. Everything was great!

Hey Lynn. Oh wow. You started your PTR already huh? Well, I'm in anyway.

I would love to go down there for the Marathon. Even though I haven't run like that since high school. Lol. I don't think I will be able to get the money together for a trip though. When is the deadline?

I also am looking forward to HP:HBP. I'm rereading it right now so it's fresh in my mind. I also heard good things. I might even get a sneak peek since my sister works at the theater.

Great meal choices.

We love CP for breakfast! I love all the choices and getting in the MK early is always a plus.

We are trying Ohana, SciFi, and Y&Y for the first time in October and I'm really looking forward to them.

We ate at Garden Grill in November. The food was okay. The character interaction was awesome and we saw them multiple times even though the restaurant was full.

I'm going next weekend with a bunch of friends. I'm so excited! I got my geeky Hogwarts shirt all ready to go.

Your restaurant choices are great, but they are making me horribly hungry right now. By the way, Pooh and Tigger are usually also at 1900 Park Fare. They are so adorable.

OOH I almost bought one of those shirts from Hot Topic!! I hope I see some people dressed up. They crack me up lol.

Girl I know, I could eat some disney food right now!! Aww good. Glad they will be there. So cute.

 You would have to preorder tickets for that one... and most def. for Twilight.

I hate it when they leave stuff out of the book too.. sometimes I then get confused on what was in the book and what was in the movies.. DUHHH

It's my favorite meal of the day.. dbf and I used to go to a restaurant here in Ottawa that serves breakfast 24/7 and we'd order it at like 11pm-2am..

your Lunches, Again, we haven't eaten at most of your choices....WE LOVE Biergarten... we had such an amazing time the last time we were there and the food was delicious and were gonna be at Sci Fi on August 1st... I love going to the drive in here at home.. so i'm really excited for this one.

Although, we've never eaten at the Coral Reef, we've did the Aqua Seas tour.. you should give it try.. it was amazing.

Counter Service.... We've hit a couple of these...our first trip down to WDW we didn't know about anything other than the counter services.. then i discovered disboards.. PHEW.

We love Earl of Sanwhich, Cosmic Rays and Pizza Planet. Best part is that it's quick and easy.

Lynn.. great post!!!

Yeah you must pre order!!! I won't be able to see New Moon at midnight in Nov because of school. BOO!! Oh well, I'll just go the weekend.

Girl I know!!!! It drives me crazy that he doesn't like it that much. I feel bad if I book too many breakfast places cause I know he won't like it. I LOVE it!!! OOH I can not wait for you to try the tonga toast!!

Yeah Biergarten in great!! that is so cool you have a drive in place like Sci Fi near you!!!

Oh I have to look into that tour.

I can't wait to try Jiko!!!! Yeah you have to book another trip lol!!

those look to be some great meals!!
When is race day?

Race day is Jan 9th!

:yay:

Can't wait to read more!

WOO YAY for the Poly!!!!!! You will love the dining plan. It's so great. OOOh have it delivered to your room in the AM!!! SOOOOO good. It is amazing waking up to that smell. Oh I hope we like it. The food looks good to me, not like your typical asian food.

Aww good!! You can get back on track. If you need any tips or anything don't hesitate to ask me!! Yeah it is going to be a lot of food!! Oh YAY you will love The Wave!! I think we are going to eat there on our first night too.

popcorn::Disney Diningpopcorn::

YAY! A new trip report! At 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, they also have Tigger and Pooh, when we went last year it was soooo much fun! The Madhatter is GREAT!

Holy crap look at all those ADR choices!! How in the heck are you going to eat all that?! :rotfl2:

I hope you get them all! They all look yummy. Love Sci-Fi and Tutto, lots of those that I'd love to try. I already can't wait for your reviews! :thumbsup2

I have no idea lol!!! Well I'm only going to do 2 sit down meals a day, no way I could do 3.

I think I will get them all, I should lol. Not that busy in Jan. I have never had a problem when I call on the day I'm supposed to.

No problem. I agree with you! I think it will be a nice pace for us to eat at 2 sit downs a day. There are a ton of good places to eat. It can get overwhelming lol.

OH yay for DVC!! We love it. I want to stay at the boardwalk area one day. Yeah I'm lucky too. I got back to school on the 15th in Jan so it works out great!

AHH me too lol! Aww don't be. I do love Jan. Yeah I'm getting in as many vacations as I can before I start to teach. I have a couple of years so I'm all good.

YAY for free dining!! You will love it.

Thank you so much :)

These are all the ones we also have planned. I'm super excited.
I would try more that you have planned but I let my parents help a little. My dad doesn't want sea food or anything and my mom said she wants lots of steak and cheesecake. Aye aye aye!!

I'm excited for you too. That's good you let them help pick!

Signing In!!!

January is a great time to go! I went this last January and had an amazing time. The weather is great and the crowds are low, you guys will have a blast!!!

Love your ADR choices!!!!!! I hope you will be able to get them all!!! I too can't wait to have Tonga Toast...one of the things I'm definitely trying for the first time this trip!!!

Yes!! That is what I like to hear. I think we went in Jan in 04. It was great! I think I will be able to get them. OOH you will love it.

Except I think I'm cancelling LTT...I keep forgetting that!! lol

Yeah I saw that you mentioned that in your PTR.

HEY Josh!! Glad you're here. Yeah I figured I might as well start it lol. Well the half is already full.. I think the 5k and the full are still open.

OOOH that is awesome! I hope you get a sneak peak! I can't wait to see it.

I don't know all the details. Somebody posted a thread about it over on the theme parks forum asking for more details on it.

Apparently it is a segway tour, green house tour, and they take you on Soarin, and Nemo, and tour some locations in Future World. It is more of a walking tour. You don't spend too much time on the segway. Cost $120, and is available Tuesday, and Saturday mornings at 8:15.

They are taking reservations for it, but I still can't find any details on it. So that is all I know so far.

I think Tim and I are going to do it.

Hey Lynn! Of course I'm on board.. this is awesome.. nice start to your pre-TR! Looking forward to reading everything! I saw your reply in your 1yr thread, but I thought I would reply here haha--i'm doing good thanks and yes the hair is looking AWESOME! I cant wait to be back, it looks like around Sept/October before we go to Disney! Or unless I get antsy enough with my hair I may have to come earlier haha..
All the dining places sound fantasic! Looking through the list I've pretty much eaten at ALL of them (about a billion times) LOL *except* the Wave, last July my boyfriend and I walked past it and said "oooooo, we have to try that next trip" so that is probably one of our places to try.
Your just like me w/ Earl of Sandwhich! Girl I use to go down to eat dinner there every night when I worked there and when I wasn't working I was at EARL! haha and sit outside..always my same: Chx Ceasar Salad and an Ice tea.. SOO good and so healthy!
Casey's Corner is a must do.. YUM! Hotdogs are sooo good! Or as my boyfriend would say.. the corn-nuggets! HA! I love how the guy plays the piano outside, now I haven't noticed, but OMG when I was growing up and we were going about 2 times a year, it was ALWAYS the same guy, my dad would have my sister and I get pictures with him and its funny comparing the different years and pictures, same guy... unbelievable! Talk to you soon!!!...:goodvibes

We will most likely do that tour. I have not mentioned it to Tim yet, but I know he will want to do it. Once he hears that it involves a segway he will be all for it.

Wow Lynn, you have a lot of information about your trip already. I think it is great that you are back in school. My DD's are teachers, one teaches and the other decided not to teach, but is very successful. I am so proud of both of them, and sometimes wish I would have the summers off too. Good luck to you, I hope you love it.

Speaking of food - didn't you eat at the Plaza last time around and I want to say you did it solo? I was hoping to get the Plaza on our MNSSHP night and it's been booked. Finally, last night online there was a perfect opening so I grabbed it! YEAH!! We also love Sci-Fi and are eating there again. We're probably the most excited to try 'Ohana for breakfast and Tutto this time around. If I can't get the Chicken Milanese? for dinner then I'm getting your favorite pasta dish! :)

Congrats again on starting school - so very proud of you :woohoo:

We are finally going up to NYC! We didn't get a chance to get up a couple of weeks ago, but we are going tomorrow. My SIL Shannon is coming with us, and our friend Steve (we hooked them up) Shannon is back to her normal, happy self, so we are so happy. She's over the loser. Her and Steve have started talking, and hanging out so so far so good.

Can't wait to hit the WOD store.

My SIL Shannon is coming with us, and our friend Steve (we hooked them up) Shannon is back to her normal, happy self, so we are so happy. She's over the loser. Her and Steve have started talking, and hanging out so so far so good.

Can't wait to hit the WOD store.

NYC.. that should be fun.. I've never been.. I"ve always thought about taking a bus tour there from Ottawa.... besides WOD what else will you do?

I see that you have some very good things to say about the wave? how was your experience there? The menu looks delicious and the pictures of the place look amazing!! I am very exciting to try to -- we changed WCC to eat at the wave and I think it was a very good choice LOL. How "organic" is the wave? and what entrees?/desserts would you recommend? I looked at the menu and was thinking about the grilled beef tenderloin! I love healthy food-- so if this place is at least a little bit healthy it will be right up my alley!! I am really excited to try this place!!!

I was shaky though up there.. haha..

I've lurked on your TR reports before, but I just had to comment this time when I read that your half goal is 2 hours. That is awesome:worship: You are way faster than me. I've done a couple of halfs (Disneyland and Baltimore) and both of them were a bit over 3 hours:eek: I'm thinking maybe I'll try to be under 3 for the half in January but I get so distracted by all the characters and fun. I'd say see you at the race, but it's pretty obvious all I'll be seeing of you is dust:rotfl:

Him and Tim would get along great I think lol.

You should go. There is so much to do there. Central Park is gorgeous, and it has a zoo. I have never been to the zoo, but earlier today we did get to walk by central park. You can see shows on Broadway. I want to see Mary Poppins, and The Lion King. I loved the Little Mermaid. There are a ton of museums as well. The Wax museum is really cool. Hi!!! Yeah I'm going to try my hardest. I think I should be able to do it. When I run comfortably (the past couple runs) outside, I do an 8 minute mile. So that would put me at like 1:40:00 something, I think lol. If I can maintain an 8 min mile the whole time.

AHH it's going to be so hard for me to not get distracted by the characters lol. I just have to tell myslef, the faster I get done, the faster I can get to the parks LOL!!! I'm nuts.

Yeah the salon is cute, but they have horrible management skills, so you probably won't hear back from them so I apologize about that. Well if you do hear back it will probably be like months later. Just know that the letter meant a lot to me.

I wanted to see it, I've also seen Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King (I also think it's an amazing show!!) Oh well maybe they'll bring it back one day. Lynn I have a question for you. I've read your TR from your last trip and you have such beautiful hair and it always looked so great, what do you use in your hair? I have very thick wavy/curly hair and I love it when I scrunch it and it's curly but it gets kinda gross looking sometimes. I was wondering if you could recommend something. Thanks!!

Well I have to show you a couple pics of my little cousins first. These are from the 4th of July.

She is 5 months old. Look at her lol.

Ok here are the NYC pics.

We got to the WOD store 20 mins before it opened.

I love the window!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3470.jpg

Timmy grabbed a hot dog lol. He always has to have one in the city.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3473.jpg

While I was waiting, I noticed the reflection of the church in the window. It looked neat so I took a pic.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3474.jpg

Tim took pictures of me waiting haha!! I stood right at the door, felt like I was at rope drop because like 5 mintutes later, there was a crowd LMAO!!!

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3481.jpg

Finally they opened the doors. They clap and welcome you when you first go in. It's so cute. I have to say, when I'm in this store, I really get the feeling I am in WDW.

Look!!!! They have Tren-d there!!!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3494.jpg

Tim went straight to the pins. He bought a couple. They have new mystery box sets. The bottle cap series, and the flag series.

I found the new vynilmation figurines!! So glad they had them there. I bought one, and got the Lion King one. Then I went up to the third floor. Here is the view of the second floor.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3495.jpg

I was looking around at all the art, I love it up there. Look what I found!! HM stretching room portrait trinket boxes. I was so buying one!!! I bought the parasol lady! Love her!

I soooo want this!!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3501.jpg

We were there for like 45 mins, bought our stuff and left. We passed The Trump Tower!!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3503.jpg

I thought that building on the right was really neat. Look at how it slopes at the bottom.

The Mac store. It's underground. You walk in that builing and go down the steps.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3505.jpg

Here is a pic of central park. I never realized how gorgeous the park really is. This was my first time seeing it. It is so beautiful in person.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3507.jpg

Do do horse and carriage rides around the park. This horse reminded me of Prince from The MK.

Gotta love the guy I spotted sun bathing in his speedo lol. You could spot this guy from a mile away haha.

Finally!! I made it to Crumbs!!! Just look!

And that's it! We were only there for a little, so I did not take that many pics.

World of Disney NYC will be closing after the holidays :(

It is so so sad:guilty:

Oh dear, WOD is closing, that really stinks!! So does The Little Mermaid stopping at the end of August!! Thanks!!

HI! I know it does stink. I have to see those too, I loved TLM.

Thanks. I just use Herbal Essence hair mousse, and shaper hairspray. Curls Rock by catwalk is really good too.

They're closing WoD?! How come?? That's such a bummer, I love that store.

I love your pictures of NYC. My grandparents lived in Jersey (right across the river, I could see the skyline from their window) when I was a kid and I spent every summer with them and they took me to the city all the time. I miss going there so much, it's been years. :(

Those cupcakes look fantastic. Were they good? Which one did you get?

Hey Lynn!
When my DH and I went up to NYC for our anniversary we went to WOD and Crumbs on your suggestion. We actually heard that they are closing that WOD location but that they are opening one some where else in NYC. I seem to remember in the Times Square area, but I could be wrong. Hopefully it is true that they are just changing locations in NYC, not closing entirely.

Also, depending on how close you are to Philly/how often you go in there is an AMAZING bakery there. While we loved crumbs, we think this place is better. It is called Brown Betty's. http://www.brownbettydesserts.com/ The one we go to is in Northern Liberties (around 2nd and Girard). There is also one on 20th I think? Northern Liberties is a fun little area to hang out in. It is "up and coming." Nice bars, cute eateries, outside dining/shopping district. It's definitely a young people crowd. You should check it out. There is also an AWESOME bowling alley/bar called North Bar.

Hey Lynn! Thanks for sharing the pics from NYC! That "Crumbs" bakery looks SO good haha we will definitley check that out next time we are up there!! I saw you said you were going to the shore soon--we are going Thursday .. My BF's birthday is tomorrow!!!:lovestruc were doing some stuff around here tomorrow.. worked perfect that it was both our days off *thank goodness*. Thursday we are going to Atlantic City... we aren't *big* into the casinos .. (esp. me now working at one :crazy2:) but we do go for fun once in awhile..so we'll definitley hit up some slots when we are there.. but were going to walk the boardwalk.. enjoy the day go to the "Pier Shops" the neat mall they have on the pier.. and also do some mini-golfing haha.. CANT WAIT! We've been DYING to go to the shore!! Its like we live so close.. but yet hardly get to go! We also love Long Beach Island.. its nice because it doesn't have a boardwalk.. so if you want to go just for the beach.. hit up the lighthouse which is good excerise to walk all those stairs LOL and go to "Bay Village" where they have some shops along the bay along with a small amusement area called "Fantasy Island" ..

Wow its only 7:43am. haha this day better get moving.. I work 7am-3pm and its dead right now.. well heck I be sleeping if it wasn't for work.. I hope thats what everyone else is doing.. I walk into work today and across the casino floor and I cant believe how many people are out playing slots at 6:45am!! Our resort is still under construction so its not like we have our hotel yet for people to walk outta their room and down to the floor.. just looking at them made me tired and want to go back into bed!! :faint:

hope you have a good day!

PS oh yeah! I wanted to ask you.. did you get an email from Disney mentioning an extension about the free dining plan.. its weird my boyfriend got it but i didnt! It said "Free Dining" and below said.. 10/29/09-11/23/09 or something like that .. im like OMG!? we have to check into that because that would be a GREAT help to our vaca! :tigger:

Lynn! I love your NYC pics! Looks so fun! I hope to make it up there someday...but your crumbs pictures reminded me of something I just found out that I had to share. Apparently there is a Crumbs-esque bakery in my little part of the country in a college town. I hear its quite popular but this is a college town with a reputation for being "hippie" and "weird" (no offense to anyone, just stating facts of their rep) and this place called Tee and Cakes has some normal flavors (triple chocolate, red velvet, etc.) and then some more eccentric but yummy sounding ones (cookies and cream, banana fudge) but then they also have ones such as strawberry milkshake, chocolate bacon, coca cola and...beer. I kid you not. Here's the menu: Tee And Cakes (http://www.teeandcakes.com/cupcakes.html)

Finally had some time to upload the pics from NYC. There aren't many, just a couple.

Well I have to show you a couple pics of my little cousins first. These are from the 4th of July.

She is 5 months old. Look at her lol.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3377.jpg

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3390.jpg

And her big brother. Look at the dorito face LOL! Gotta love kids.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3384.jpg

Ok here are the NYC pics.

We got to the WOD store 20 mins before it opened.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3468.jpg

I love the window!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3470.jpg

Timmy grabbed a hot dog lol. He always has to have one in the city.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3473.jpg

While I was waiting, I noticed the reflection of the church in the window. It looked neat so I took a pic.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3474.jpg

Tim took pictures of me waiting haha!! I stood right at the door, felt like I was at rope drop because like 5 mintutes later, there was a crowd LMAO!!!

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3481.jpg

Finally they opened the doors. They clap and welcome you when you first go in. It's so cute. I have to say, when I'm in this store, I really get the feeling I am in WDW.

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3491.jpg

Love her!

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3496.jpg

I soooo want this!!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3501.jpg

We were there for like 45 mins, bought our stuff and left. We passed The Trump Tower!!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3503.jpg

I thought that building on the right was really neat. Look at how it slopes at the bottom.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3504.jpg

The Mac store. It's underground. You walk in that builing and go down the steps.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3505.jpg

Here is a pic of central park. I never realized how gorgeous the park really is. This was my first time seeing it. It is so beautiful in person.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3507.jpg

Do do horse and carriage rides around the park. This horse reminded me of Prince from The MK.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3508.jpg

Gotta love the guy I spotted sun bathing in his speedo lol. You could spot this guy from a mile away haha.
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3510.jpg

Finally!! I made it to Crumbs!!! Just look!
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w282/Lynn31208/Family/IMG_3513.jpg
They are very very good!!

And that's it! We were only there for a little, so I did not take that many pics.

WOW what a great day!!!

I love the pics like always. The park is very beautiful.

Lynn, LOVED your NYC pics. I am so jealous! We are going to make it up there some time during Thanksgiving (and my son's bday at the same time) in the next year or so. Can't wait to try the cupcakes and see what all the fuss is about! We are going to try to be in Disney the same time as you are! I wanted to run as well so maybe we will see eachother there! Should be starting my PTR after I am finished with my past TR. Cant wait to read more of yours!

Oh that is a great time to go. They should have Christmas decorations up by then, I think. Crumbs is YUM!!! OOH hopefully we will see each other. Let me know when you start your PTR!

Lynn

Heather

Hi Heather!! Thank you. Yeah I could eat all those cupcakes lol.

School is great!! I will have to post about that, I figured out my major finally. I talked with the head of transferring yesterday at my school. I loved him, he was so helpful. He plans out all my classes, and helps with the transfer process. I'm going for Lib arts & sciences, focusing in Chem. I will be getting k-12 certified as well. Now I just have to look more into 4 year schools. I have time though.

Oh I loved the movie!!!! My favorite one so far!!

I just went in acting like I never read the books, so I could enjoy the movie, and I did.

We had a couple of people dressed up at out theater! There was a guy dressed up as Hagrid lol! He looked great.

Yes! A Harry Potter discussion!
I loved it!! It didn't follow the book exactly... but they improvised very well! The boy who played Tom Riddle as a teenager was VERY good. (creepy)!

I saw it last night at midnight too!! I thought it was really good. Definitely the best HP movie so far. The kids acting gets better with every movie. I agree, you have to go in knowing that they have to leave out a lot of the book to make the movie. Even tho I miss some things, it still makes for a good movie. And I have to say... I shed a tear or two! (Not near as many as I shed when I read the book... but a few.) And I jumped once too!! Even knowing that was going to happen, when it did... I JUMPED! :scared1:

Can't wait for the next one!! I heard that they are splitting the last book into two movies! They should be good! I loved the last book!!

HAHAHA So did I!!! I knew it was going to happen, but I still jumped lol. The part where Harry has to force Dumbledore to drink the potion is the worst, that part makes me feel so uncomfortable, poor Dumbledore.

Yeah they are splitting the movies into 2. I'm so happy they are, maybe they will be able to fit everything in that way. LOVE the last book.

Hey! I just wanted to say I've been reading your PTR- and it is awesome!

We'll be down there at the same time for our honeymoon! (Jan 3-10).

I also wanted to make an HP comment! I saw it, and for the first time, was slightly disappointed. I've always been very forgiving of hollywood changes- but there were a couple of things that irked me. One thing in particular I felt was kind of contradictory to a certain character's personality. I won't post them here- but if anyone wants me to elaborate- feel free to PM me!

That being said, I'm going to see it again this week with my nephews, and will definitely see it a 3rd time at IMAX. So, I'm still extremely loyal!

Anyways, just wanted to post my 2 cents. But keep the good report comments coming!:goodvibes

Ok, so I thought waiting until Friday to see HP would be no big deal. My Aunt and I always do the dinner/movie package for HP at our local theater...it's our little thing. And, she can't go until Friday...no biggie.... Except it is!! I'm insanely jealous of everyone who's seen it!

Jeff said we should go see it tonight and just not tell my Aunt...but I feel to bad about that. So I'm going to wait like a good niece....but, man it's hard! :rotfl:

This year my ds and dh decided that they wanted to go to. But so that we didn't break tradition, we put them in line at 7pm and we went to dinner alone! :rotfl2: We had a great dinner and a few drinks, then we went and stood in line while the guys went to dinner. I am hearing really good things about the new HP movie! My friend tried to convince me to go to the midnight showing on Tuesday, but by the time we had decided to do it, the tickets were all sold out. So, we are going this weekend and I can't wait!

Yeah you had to get them early lol!!!

Great NYC pictures! And the baby is a cutie!

Thank you!!

I'm going to re-watch all the other ones and then go see this one. :wizard:

I enjoyed the movie but I didn't feel it was as good as it should have been. Considering they pushed it back so I was expecting it to be a lot better than it actually was. I felt a little letdown to be honest.

THIS POST WILL HAVE SPOILERS FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE!!!!

Ok. I saw the movie. Being a HUGE HUGE fan of the books. I thought it was OK. I'm not too mad on most of the things they took out. Like the battle, and the funeral. But what I was mad about is they didn't show Bill getting mauled by Greyback, and also how Tonks and Lupin were already together. That was supposed to be a big part of the ending saying how much Dumbledore would haved wanted more love in the world.

Also, I didn't like the fact that drinking Felix Felicius makes you seem, umm high, and drinking a love potion makes you drunk. Also, I think they overdid the Lavender/Ron thing. It made it seem to me that Lavender was obsessed with Ron. They didn't even have a S on the locket. Which is also a big part in Deathly Hallows.

I did like how they showed Regulus since he (or at least his name) plays a big role in Deathly Hallows. I also like the face they talked about him leaving and not coming back next year.

That was my two cents. I may be nitpicking since I'm such a big fan. But still. It was OK.

END SPOILERS

I agree with that completely. It had it's funny moments but it got really old after awhile. Everything with the teen hormones was overkill throughout the movie.

I didn't like that they didn't even explain who Greyback was. He was just there. My DBf has never read the books and kept asking 'Who is that guy?' They didn't really explain his character all. They didn't even mention Bill and Fleur. I wonder if they'll cut them out of the 7th movie as well?

And really, how many times did they have to show Draco taking the cover off the cabinet?? That shot was in there like 4 times. There was no mystery to that part of it AT ALL. That was pretty much what the book was about!!

And is it me or did it make Harry look weak? In the book, he was stupified and could not help Dumbledore. For the movie, he just stood there and was quiet, as asked by Dumbledore. That doesn't seem to me something he would do willingly. There was no character growth at all for Harry in this movie.

I thought it was ok but overall, I was disappointed too. For pushing it back 8 months, it should have been better.

I agree with you. It would have been nice to see the parts with Greyback and Bill. IDK why they decided to blow up the Weasley's house instead. I also don't get why they didn't have Dumbledore freeze Harry when he was under the tower.

For those who thought the movie was a letdown...wasn't the book for you too? I have NOT seen the movie yet, but re-read the book this week for refresh on the story...and remembered that I thought this book was ok...but really just a filler until the big finale.
Order of the Phx was such a good book and full of action/things progressing...HBP wasn't really except for the end...which if the movie cut short...then whats left really. ;)
I am rereading the last book too...just started...now THAT will be a movie. :goodvibes

I think that they did the blowing up of the Burrow thing to show how much Ginny cared about Harry. Because is the book, you can tell. How she always was stuttering around him, and running away. They didn't show that in the movies. Other than that. The only other reason I can think of is to show how villainous the Death Eaters are.

Actually, the 6th and 7th books are my favorites! I was disappointed that they cut most of the end out of the movie and felt they could have done a better job with Dumbledore's death scene. There was a lot of stuff they left in there that I think was complete overkill (ie Ron and Lavender). It didn't annoy me in the book but in the movie it was just like, enough already! Plus they cut out characters completely which leads me to believe they're going to do the same thing in the movies about the 7th book...

I think my expectations were just too high.

That is true. They don't show that in the movies. I also heard that the director wanted to save the battle at hogwarts for the 7th movie. Well there is a battle in both so I don't get that. lol

Finally...I saw HP on Friday. I really loved the movie as a movie. But I was a bit disappointed that it strayed from the book. WARNING...SPOILERS!!! I loved, loved, LOVED Bill and Fleur and they were nowhere to be found. I really hope they at least bring them out for the seventh movies. I'd be really disappointed it they left out the wedding scene. I was also bummed they left out Dumbledore's funeral. But overall, I really did like the movie.

Did I see that you are reading the Twilight series? They sucked me in like HP did. I'm addicted!! You have to read "Midnight Sun" (http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_partial_draft4.pdf). It's the partial draft of the book she was doing through Edward's perspective...SWOON!! :lovestruc:cloud9::love:

My parents, BF and I were in AC on the 14th and 15th!

Lynn, great pictures! The Jersey shore is so nice. The beach that I've been going to by me since I was practically born is nothing like that. It used to be but now there's like nothing left of it. Of course there's a thousand other beaches on Long Island but still, I think I actually enjoyed the Jersey shore better!

LOL really?!:rotfl: We just missed each other by 1 day, wouldn't it have been funny to see you in a casino or out on the boardwalk and go "OMG I KNOW that person.. but wait .. from where..DIS BOARDS!" LOL!!

We wanted to 'relax' so we actually took a bus from the Allentown/Bethlehem,PA area, it was sooo nice.. cheap tickets plus we got slot play as well! We usually love driving..to all our places we go to.. but this was soooo nice! We mainly played at Showboat because thats where we got our free play.. we ate at Rainforest, which sadly everyone is *NOT* like the one in Disney at Downtown&Animal Kingdom:sad2:... we were SO disappointed with the meal, I wish I would have said something. My BF said we would have even been better of just having the buffet:rolleyes: Which I completely agreed with.. I made reservations at Rainforest because the food has always been SO good down in FL, and man it was FAR from it! I love the atmosphere.. but soo yucky food! What was I thinking? LOL anything that reminds me of Disney I try to do, and our lil' trip down was for his birthday which was the day before 7/15! We would have loved to stay over but with Disney coming up in October we need all the $$$ haha... ill post a picture later.. but hope you had fun in AC! Win anything? We didnt:( boo!! :snooty: LOL

:lmao: I would have thought it was so cool to see someone from the Dis! We stayed at the Tropicana so we only played in the casino there. My dad got 2 free rooms so we went with them. They actually stayed until the 16th but my BF couldn't get off from work that day so we had to leave the 15th. Funny that you went to RFC because we were there for a late lunch on the 15th! We didn't think it was too bad though, nothing special but it was good. My BF has never been to a RFC and my parents and I haven't been over 10 yrs when we were in WDW in 1998! I hope you guys had fun though! We drove down in my new car which I didn't want to do because I felt bad putting the miles on her when she was only a week old! LOL My BF actually won $218 on his last $20 that he had with him! Me, NOTHING of course LOL But when BF won the $218 we were so excited acting like he had won a million bucks!

Sorry for the hijack Lynn!

Nice pics Lynn. You and your mom are so beautiful.

But yeah, I really wished they did show the battle. It would have been cool to see. My favorite book is number 3. I love Sirius, and they introduced him in that one. But my favorite overall chapter has to be "The Prince's Tale" It shows you how brave Snape was and all the did was for love. You gotta fell that one.

I have no clue how to post any pics or I will post some.

I finally saw HP. I was a little disappointed but I thought it was a pretty good movie. There's never any comparison to the books though. The books are just TOO GOOD! They showed the trailer for New Moon! Jacob, yum!!:rotfl:

Did I see that you are reading the Twilight series? They sucked me in like HP did. I'm addicted!! You have to read "Midnight Sun" (http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_partial_draft4.pdf). It's the partial draft of the book she was doing through Edward's perspective...SWOON!! :lovestruc:cloud9::love:

Love me some Twilight!! I was SOOOO disappointed by Midnight Sun...only because it ended so abruptly and I think that the author is being a brat by not finishing!! I want more Edward!! lol...may be why I love the 4th HP so much...although he definitely is hotter as a vampire than a wizard!!

Anywho...some pictures of Landon's first time swimming!!

Ugh. I hate Twilight. I'm sorry. But I can't read the thing. It's all about Edward's crooked smile and how much she is in love with him. I picked up the book thinking it was going to be about vampires. I was so disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool idea. But too much lovey dovey stuff for me. Guess it's a girl thing.

YES!! It sucked you in and then BOOM...it's over and you totally want more. It was pretty evil. I really want her to finish it, too. I think the story is even better through Edward's perspective. And yeah, I agree...Edward is definitely sexier than Cedric. :thumbsup2

Btw, those pics of Landon are super cute!!

Looks like so much fun! Love the ocean and long days at the beach

Your hair has gotten so long! Looks great :thumbsup2

No summer pics for me, yet...All I've done is work. Booooo

Hi Emily! Sorry you have been working a lot this summer. I hope you get at least some time to do something this summer.

I know, it is so long now!!!! I love it lol.

YAY you saw it!!!!! I know, I was sad as well to not see Bill and Fluer. They are doing the wedding in the 7th movie though.

OOH I will have to look into that! I'm almost done the first one. I was going to finish it at the beach this past Sunday, but I had too much fun in the ocean lol.

Hey Lynn, great pictures! The weather looked amazing! I am currently at work , but later tonight I'll put up a few pictures! We were just at the shore on 7/16 in Atlantic City!! Also the other day, my boyfriend and his fire department had a 'mock burn class' so I have a nice picture from that day too! I'll post tonight.. glad to hear the class is going well! I know *exactly* how you feel about the Math thing as we discussed...lol!

Hi!!! How was AC? Did you go to The Trop? OOOh can't wait to see some pics!

Thanks!! I'm really enjoying it!

Great pictures! Where did you end up going to the beach? I was trying to figure out which boardwalk.

Ghetto Sea Side. From now on. I'm sticking to Ocean City. We only went to Seaside because it's close. lol

Cute pictures! I love the beach:lovestruc And did you seriously just ask us to post pictures:cool1: Watch out because there are some things I just can't resist:rotfl:
These are from last summer, but I still love em:thumbsup2

I love the beach too!!! Cute pics, thank you for sharing!!!! So cute.

Aww cute pics 'DisMagicLover' :earboy2:

I know, how adorable are they?

Hey Lynn, just found your new pretrip, I love the Beach photos, is that Seaside Heights, my grandfather had a house in Pine Beach and we would spend every summer down there.

We stayed in SSR for the 1st time in May and loved it, I wasn't so sure staying there because of the size but we loved it.

Hi!! Thanks Yeah it is. That is so awesome your grandfather has a beach house!!! Awesome.

OMG we love SSR!!! I actually like that it's a big resort because I can run all over the grounds. Love it.

How was it?? Yeah the shore is the one good thing about NJ lol! I have to make it to Ocean City soon! I love it.

LOL really?! We just missed each other by 1 day, wouldn't it have been funny to see you in a casino or out on the boardwalk and go "OMG I KNOW that person.. but wait .. from where..DIS BOARDS!" LOL!!

We wanted to 'relax' so we actually took a bus from the Allentown/Bethlehem,PA area, it was sooo nice.. cheap tickets plus we got slot play as well! We usually love driving..to all our places we go to.. but this was soooo nice! We mainly played at Showboat because thats where we got our free play.. we ate at Rainforest, which sadly everyone is *NOT* like the one in Disney at Downtown&Animal Kingdom.. we were SO disappointed with the meal, I wish I would have said something. My BF said we would have even been better of just having the buffet Which I completely agreed with.. LOL

HAHA I got that when I went to the bank one day lol. "Exuse me, are you Lynn from the Disboards?" LOL!

Yeah RFC around here are blah. It's better down in Disney because it's in Disney lol!

It is totally ok, you know I don't mind at all. I love the Trop!!!! I do really well in there while on the slots, and Tim is really good at Black Jack.

Thank you Josh!! You're so sweet.

It would have been cool to see the battle. OOH I love "The Prince's Tale"

I'm here! I was in Paris for a week and I'm finally caught up. I can't believe how long your PTR has gotten, and it hasn't even been a week! I love your beach pics! I've been dying to go to the beach again ever since I came back from Fort Lauderdale a couple of weeks ago; even if that means I have to settle for a NY beach ::

OMG how was Paris?? Please tel me all about it. That is awesome. Go to the beach!! You will enjoy it!!

Nice pics!! I haven't been to a beach in forever!! I think that's going to be dbf and my trip next summer, he wants to do a relaxing vacation to the beach! But anyway, very nice pics!!

Oh you so should!!!! The beach is so much fun!!!

Nice beach pics! Lucky Leo's! I've spent many summers in there playing skee ball! lol

I finally saw HP. I was a little disappointed but I thought it was a pretty good movie. There's never any comparison to the books though. The books are just TOO GOOD! They showed the trailer for New Moon! Jacob, yum!!::

OMG Jacob is smoking hot in New Moon!!! What a transformation from the first movie!!

Nice beach pictures! It looks soooo inviting! This is the week we're usually at OCMD, but this year we won't be going until the last week of August!! : That's a long time to wait!
