With great sadness I will not be able to Disgin for awhile,
Today my wonderful and courageous Dad passed away.
I feel so very sad and need time to heal and be with my family.
He was such a fighter and never gave up,this I will always remember.
I apologise to anyone waiting for a DISign but know that there are lots of great DISigners here that will make you beautiful DISigns.

I was extremely close to my Dad and it sometimes feels like he was here yesterday and it has been 8 years......

Isn't it weird, but I feel like I kinda know you and have never met you. You have done so many wonderful things for me and I know for so many people here on this board. I totally understand that you need time off and you should take lots of time to just let God help you through this time.
Please remember what God brings us to, he brings us through.

(My darling Granny and PaPa) that are with him in heaven right now.

Mel - Loosing a parent is so very, very hard. I lost my Dad 7 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. Mel, I'm very sorry to hear about your dad. We came close twice this year to losing my dad, once to cancer and the second to c-diff. He is doing well right now and although I know he won't be able to help much with the deck me and my BIL are building just knowing that he's around to ask advice of or run an idea by means a lot to me. I'd hate to have to do it with out him.

You take time and come back when you're ready. We'll all be thinking of you.

I wanted to take a moment to say how much everyone's kind words and prayers are appreciated. My dad has 5 kids -15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and everyone has been pulling together. My dad's service is this coming Sunday.

I am really sorry to hear about your Dad. You have my prayers and sympathy.

It is so hard to lose a parent, I lost both of mine in 99, only 4 months apart and we were extremly close. Being any only child, I lost my whole family.

I know what you are going thru and it is not easy. Remeber all the good times and what helps some of us is to do a journal. Take a journal and write down all the fun time you had with your Dad. I did this for both my parents in the same journal. It was hard and brought tears, but they were healing tears. When something reminded me of a memory of long ago when I was a kid I would jot it down until I got home to write in my journal. It really did help me.
