Hi
I was just wondering what everyone uses to Laminate things like Luggage and Stroller Tags? I've used the Scotch photo laminating sheets in the past but wasn't sure if these would be sturdy enough...especially on the luggage.
Thanks

I have a Xyron 900 lamination machine. It's multifunctional - they also make adhesive cartridges so you can make stickers. It's rather small and hand-crank, but you can fit papers up to 9" wide.
Here's a link: http://www.xyron.com/enUS/Products/9__Creative_Station_.html?WT.mc_id=/enUS/Products/Xyron_900.html
It's a bit pricey, but I've had mine for nearly five years and have gotten a lot of use out of it.

I have a smaller version of the pp's that I picked up at AC Moore and used a 40% occ coupon on. I think I paid 25 or 30 for it. I don't use it often, but it's great to have around when needed. ;)

Well, they carry it at Michael's, and they typically run a 40% off coupon in the sales ad every week.

If you sign up for the michael's emails they send you a 50% off coupon. and everytime you purchase in store you get another coupon (40-50%) for use the next week.

I went to Staples and they are going to do my stroller tag and luggage tags for a couple of bucks...they already have the luggage tag laminate premade size.

Maybe I'll look into Staples! That's an easy fix. I was hoping that there were some laminating sheets that you could use an iron or something, just because the heat ones seem to stay sealed better....
thanks for all the info!

I know that Kinkos used to have in their self-help area a laminating machine. You could choose what size laminating sheets to use and then laminate single or multiple items and then use their cutting machine.

I bought an inexpensive sheet laminator (will laminate up to 8 1/2x 11 sheets) at Aldi's --but they have them at Sam's too for around the same price ($15-20). It came with a few luggage tag pouches but I also bought some on Ebay and from a local business supply place. I gift bag tags a lot in my photography biz and everyone loves the tags!
