Water in the park...?

Can someone pls remind me, can you buy water in duty free to take on the plane and it's not classed as part of your however many mls it is these days that you can take? (Anyone know the liquid limit these days?)....

I seem to recall buying those biggish bottles of Evian or whatever and just refilling in the park each day at the fountains. We did this for DD1 (3.5 yrs) last trip, would I be OK to do this for DD2 - she'll be almost 16 months?? :confused3

You can take water on the plane but it has to have been bought after the security checks. It is expensive so would be cheaper buying it from the garage at santa fe or shop in the station

Thanks - I think we bought it at Boots last time and it wasn't too bad a price - certainly better than Disney. We will be thirsty no doubt on the journey, esp the girls so I do think I'll buy some at the airport, even if just enough for them.

Think its 50mls - but thats for stuff in hand luggage bought before security. I dont think theres a limit after security

The liquid limits are 100ml per bottle, fitting in a sealable clear plastic bag 20cm x 20cm for things you take through security.

After security, there's no limit.

:lmao: Thanks, I looked it up just to be sure too - yes it's 100 mls. So will defo have to buy some post security for the girls for flight etc.

I always buy three or four of the litre bottles of Boots own brand water before getting on the plane(think it is Brecon Carrig) -if you have an Boots advantage card and are a member of their Health Club the bottles are half price so around 45p each. The kids always seem to be really thirsty so I like to be stocked up!
