How much cash do you spend, per person, in the parks? I'm trying to figure out how much to bring. I understand that quick counter meals places only take cash.

Also, I expect to have to take a taxi from Downtown Disney to the Poly one night. How much for cab fare, estimate???

Counter service places do take plastic. Credit cards, Disney Visa rewards cards, Key to the Kingdon cards. No cash needed!

Oh good! Not sure why I thought they didn't take CC's. Are there any places or services that don't take CC's???

We ran across a couple snack carts that were cash only, but other then that you should be good.

just a heads up : if you want to drink in EPCOT, BRING CA$H!!!! in mexico and france .... those carts for margaritas and grand marnier orange slushes ONLY take CA$H!

That's a great tip!

Sadly, being the only adult in charge of a 10 year old, I'll be bypassing any alcohol.

But that's ok - I'll try to be 'high' on fun. Or just drink when I get home... whichever. lol!

I am not sure about taxi fare as we have never done that, but I do know that you can take Disney transportation to and from DTD to any of the resorts. :tinker:

I stop at the booth in France every year (love those slushies :thumbsup2) and have never used cash. I've used my KTTW card for every purchase at the World.

a week ago. I usually walked around with less than $25 in my pocket and never had to get more money out of the safe. I carry the cash in case I do run into a snack cart that has equipment problems. I wouldn't expect to see that at a CS location. It would jam the restaurant up.

I took a cc when we ate at T-Rex. The manager has to be invoved if your KTTK card is used. I didn't care to wait for that.
