Hi everyone,
We'll be doing a call in show next week - July 14 at 4:30pm eastern time. If you've gotten through on the phones before, we're asking that you don't call in this time so we can give those who haven't had a chance to call in.

Fantastic Pete! Can't wait to hear the show. :cool1:

I love the call in shows. Great idea to get as many different people on line as possible. It is always fun to hear from new people!

Is there any way the UK line could be open? Otherwise the call is just WAY too expensive for my blood!

I have a 18185 (www.18185.co.uk) account for international calls...far cheaper and you can use it from your mobile phone too :thumbsup2
So 4:30pm Eastern Time...is that 8:30pm UK time :confused3

oh that's so cool...
let's see...4:30 pm eastern time is ....hmmmm....9:30 am....right? i think so for a 7 hour time difference...(hey you guys in the UK...if you have a 5 hour time diff, that would make it at 11:30 UK time....and 9:30 am my time)
okie dokie....9:30 am it is..
only one problem....
i have NOTHING interesting to say
in fact, interesting or not, i can't think of ANYTHING to say....
You're going the wrong way with time.
4:30 pm (1630) in Florida (Eastern Standard Time) is 9:30pm (2130) in England (Grenwich Mean Time) and 1:30am (0130 the next day) where you are (UTC/GMT+2).

In the past, listeners could not hear the call-in shows live. The shows were recorded and then aired in lieu of an e-mail show. :goodvibes

 DH has hinted to me twice already that there is a call in show next Tuesday. Since he'll be at work, I take it he wants me to call on his behalf. :thumbsup2 I just put it on my calendar (3:30 CST).
I listened to the call in show last time and was a little confused. Are people suppose to call in with a question or just shoot the breeze?

IMHO, it replaces an e-mail show which is supposed to help with trip planning so I think it's more interesting if people call in with a question or tip for others. Of course, with this crowd doing that ALWAYS leads to meandering convos and following that organically is always lotsa fun! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Pete posted that there will not be shows this week due to recent events. The call-in show would probably be rescheduled for next week or thereafter then.

I certainly understand why they would skip the Podcast stuff this week. But I have missed the official post somehow? I just want to make sure it has been postponed.
Also...is this something we can listen to as it is being recorded? If so, how would we do that?

It is not a live show where you can listen as it's being recorded. It's just a call-in.

I figured there wouldn't be a show this week due to the recent tragedy in Kevin's family. The Klose family is in our thoughts and prayers. :flower3:

Happy Anniversary Corey and Julie!! Today is my sister and b/i/l's anniversary too (many more years than yours). I'd say probably 36 (they could be your parents!)
