In your experience, are there healthy options for kids at the counter service restaurants? My kids are not big on chicken nuggets and french fries. I have not done much research but was looking at the choices at the food court at the pop century and I was thinking how my kids would much rather have yogurt and carrot sticks than the kids meals. I could use up all our snack credits in one day! Are there more choices in other places?

At the Pop there is a Turkey Sandwich on the kids menu. As well as Penne Pasta with Meatball, Beef and Broccoli stir fry, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Vegetable Lo Mein. All in addition to chicken nuggets and burgers, which can be a nice treat for some kids on occasion.

Mine has never eaten either a chicken nugget or a french fry at Disney, because she doesn't like them. Plenty of other options available.

There are lots of places to get carrots and yogurt, either as sides with kid's meals, or using the dessert portion of a CS meal. Grapes and applesauce are often available, too.

If your kids are picky, make a list of what's available where, and carry it with you. (Mine is picky, so I carry a list of which places you can get mac-n-cheese.)

Well - one thing's for sure - if you want to avoid nuggets and fries - you definitely need to do your research.

I love POP's food court for the kids - stir fry...turkey sandwich and my kids' favorite - pasta!!

We also use kids credits for breakfasts sometimes....also share some adult credits....and also visit: Sunshine Seasons, any country CS in EPCOT, Wolfgang Puck Express, Main Street Bakery and then - they do have nuggets once or twice on the trip (both of us are OK with once or twice). Also - we definitely do use snack credits a bunch too...a muffin with some fruit is a great summertime meal! But we still didn't use up all our snack credits!

It is definitely doable!

My children are not nugget/hot dog lovin' kids either. Last fall, my son discovered that he really enjoyed the baked chicken, grapes, milk (and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert) that is served at at least one location in each of the 4 parks.
