Do transfers work on tanks or camis?

Has anyone tried doing the transfers on tank tops or camis? It will be pretty hot in the end of August and DD won't wear regular tees... If so, can anyone recommend a good place to get them?

they work on cotton tanks; didn't try ribbed tanks or camis.

Got most of my shirts from shirtsupplier.com and jiffyshirts.com but also bought some at Walmart, the Dollar Tree, and Michaels! Wherever I could get them on sale!

I did tanks for me i bought one at old navy and jcpenney solid with no ribs they were $5 they came out really good i would post a pic but its packed for my trip
