My suitcase is at the end of it's life-- rips in the corners, etc. I would like a new one, but really don't want to spend that much $$. The Betsey Johnson ones are super cute, and my mom has one she got for $80 at Marshalls that I'm pretty sure she'd let me borrow, but I don't think it would be big enough for a 5-night trips
it's this one:

Does anyone know of a website or store where I can get a cheap suitcase? Something fun like the BJ one would be nice, but I'd obviously pick price over cuteness!

My FH just got one at Walmart, Jeep brand. It was on clearance for $39 normally $49. It was a roller kind and also had a garment bag with it.

We got ours at Gordmans. Both are Jeep brand for about $50.00 total. I was looking for something smaller to use as a carry-on this year and I couldn't find anymore. So, Gordman's might not have luggage anymore. At least not at the one by my house. Good luck

Watch for sales in your local paper. In Jan, 2 days before I left for a 15 day trip to DL, one of the local dept stores was offering buy one get 2 free. Safe to say for 200.00CDN I was able to get a 29in, 26in DELSEY suitcase and a London Fog carry on. They just happened to be DIS Green......:rolleyes1 Good luck on your hunt!

Hmmm, I have never heard of Gordman's.
I usually LOVEE ebay shopping, but it's hard for me to get a suitcase without seeing how big it is, etc.

I would check TJ Maxx or Marshals - At TJ Maxx I found a suitcase big enough for a three week trip to Costa Rica. A softside duffel with wheels, its not really cute like the BJ one but its nice enough.

I got my Heys lightweight hardsided luggage at Ross. It was like $69.00 for the carryon and $79.00 for the check bag. I had been looking at them online and this was a fantastic price for them.

I also bought some duffels from LillianVernon.com. She will embroidery your name (or initials) on them. They were cheap, so I didn't expect much out of them, but have used them for the last three trips instead of my Heys and they are standing up great. They are super lightweight and plenty big. I have the xlarge duffel with wheels, the large, and the medium. I think the xlarge duffel with wheels was like $39.98, the large one was $19.98, and the medium was $16.98 . All three are pink with black and the embroidery was free. I did spray them with several coats of scotchguard.

Walmart and Target are cheap. Since I work at Marshalls the Betsy you show is higher end due to the name. You can get large suitcases for 50-60. Larger duffles for $40+.

I got a 3-piece set at a garage sale for $4 a few weeks ago. The middle size (26") was used a few weeks ago for my ds's stuff for camp.

I'll tell you one thing I would not do without - the old style train cases for my bath stuff. They take a beating. Look for them on eBay.

Look at JCPenney.com. There are usually sets for less than $100. Actually I just looked online and there is a 3-piece set for $49.99 and also a 4-pc set for $69.99. They always offer free shipping too. Search online for a coupon code.

Also, I bought a set on sale a few years ago at Macy's. A 3-pc set for around $50.
