I am trying to get a count for a Thursday meet at Port Orleans Riverside to see Yehaa Bob. George and Deb (GeorgeMoe and LeftinNorway) suggested meeting up at Osborne lights beforehand.

I should probably also note that "transportation" to POR from DHS is via the buses or self provided. Because Bob goes until 12:00/12:30am, unless you have a car or are staying at POR, you need to arrange to get back to your own resort.

The last boat from POR to DTD is 11:00PM. After that you would need your own rental car or taxi.

We have MVMCP tickets for the 10th.

However, we will be doing both events that week- just at different times.
Osborne Lights is planned for the 8th, and YeeHaa Bob on the 11th.

It's looking like all we'll be able to do is the official DAP event- if we make the cut! ;)

It is my guess that we cannot have any area reserved for us unless we send out stakeholders early to save chairs. My suggestion is those that want to sit together need to get there early so we can command a space. All bets are off after 8:00/8:30 and it could more than likely be standing room.

Unless there the EMH park is still open or another park is still open, you will need to take a bus to DTD and then switch to the bus for your resort.

Welcome Dave. There is no transportation list. You either take your own transportation or a Disney bus if staying on property to POR. If you are staying at another Disney resort you need to figure out how to get back to your resort. Some of us without cars will taking a taxi or other car for hire.

The rivercruise service linking Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter and Downtown Disney commences at 10am daily. The service runs approximately every 20 minutes until 4:30pm, and then every 10 minutes until 11pm. After the boats finish operating you will still be able to use the free bus service (http://www.portorleans.org/buses.php) which runs until approximately 2am.

So if you are a Disney resort guest not already staying at POR, you can take the boat to DTD till 11pm or bus to Downtown Disney from POR after the show and then pick up a bus to your resort up till 2am. This will of course, take a ton of time but it will be will free for those that are trying to budget $$$.

Bob is a FB friend and we talk. And I'll see him Saturday night. It's not often he gets a celebrity in his audience, ya know. ;) He told me they've had groups of over 50 come in and it's all been just fine... I don't know how he does it, but I don't doubt the power of Bob.

The funny thing about the Rainforest Voicemail is we were in the Mall Hallway just outside the restaurant when we recorded it, because the noise level in the restaurant would have been too loud.

It’s quite lively and extremely entertaining for the whole family with tons of audience participation. The place fills up quick, so get there before the show starts at 8:30pm. I'm a little late on this. But, when we stayed at Port Orleans we got back from a park one evening just beat. We walked through and saw Bob singing. We sat down for over an hour and listened to him perform. The girls LOVED him. Emilie was up dancing with him. Definitely family friendly.

I just got around to looking at the photopass pic from the Osborne Lights and was so disappointed so see Kathy was hidden behind me :( Otherwise, it would've been such a great pic! I can't believe the photopass lady wouldn't have told us that someone couldn't be seen. What a disappointment.

I know not everyone is on FB and wanted to share a few of the pics of the night. The pics with Todd and Rob are from the cake that Katherine ordered for Kim's birthday, which was the night of the event. Thanks to Katherine for taking care of collecting the money and ordering the cake. It looked like Kim was really surprised and the :cake: was so good!
