Fav Shoes?

I want to buy some new sandals for my September trip. Just wondering what are people's favorite sandals to wear? I don't have a lot of $ to spend on them. Anyone have good suggestions under like $80? I have feet problems so I can't do flip flops and I need some arch support. Any thoughts would be great!:yay:

I have a left club foot and it is very difficult for me to find shoes that are supportive and comfortable with all of that walking. I have finally found the answers to my prayers - Sketchers. They are fabulous - well cushioned with an arch. I can last walking for a long time on them. We used to have to stop very often for my feet acting up. I believe the sandal ones are called Quench - they are black with white details. I can't recommend them enough from one person that has problems with her feet - my left foot is a size 6 and my right is a size 8 as well as one leg is a little shorter than the other. The price at my local Bob's store is around $39, however, there are frequently coupons for them. I recommend checking them out :thumbsup2

I love the looks of those skechers! I can't wait to try those on. I have some issues with my feet as well, doesn't help that I stand on them all day 40 some hours a week. I have been looking for THE pair of sandals, and this just might be it. I have worn skechers tennis shoes in the past and they have been great. Thanks!

I have an upcoming trip. I have two pair of keen sandals that are pretty comfortable for disney trekking but I wanted something with a little more arch support. After reading a lot of older posts here I tried on the Teva Pretty Rugged and the Teva Terra Fi 2 this weekend. I ended up going with the Terra Fi 2 . I found them on sale online at Sierra trading post for $30.

Hey there.... I've posted about them before, but it bears repeating - Chacos. Especially if you need arch support. I have fought plantar fascitis, and for me, soft foodbeds are death. I do better with more firmness, and more defined arches.

Right now, Zappos has some chacos - the ZX/1 & ZX/2 in some colors for $68 a pair - of course, free shipping, free return.

I have two pair of them currently, rotating between them. I wouldn't wear anything else. They were actually designed for water sports (white water rafting), so they do amazingly well if they get wet (dry quickly, non-slip, non-skid, no stink).

I have always been a huge fan of Merrel's, but I found Chaco's on another thread. They look awesome, especially if you have foot problems like me. Others swear by 'em!

I am keeping my eye on this thread for sure. I went in Nov and brought my regular sneakers. I was told not to get new ones and to be sure it was sneakers. By day 4, my feet were literally bleeding!! OUCH! I am going for 13 days in a couple weeks and I am really nervous about what to wear on my feet!

I just got a pair of Merrill Cruz MJ's and they have to be one of the most comfortable shoes I have besides my Teva mush (flip flops)!! :worship:

I bought Lands End Women's Medium Terrain Sandals for my August trip. I've been breaking them in and they're very comfortable. I think the material will be good if they get wet too.:goodvibes

But my prefered sandal is the Siena.

LOVE IT!! Good walking sole. Super lightweight. Very, very comfortable. The adjustable straps make it fit on your feet so well. I found too, that since it didn't have a strap across the foot, it worked well throughout the day, as my feet seemed to spread as the day wore on and I pounded the pavement.

Tevas work really well, especially for water rides. I find that sometimes the plastic parts that hold the straps will start to rub my feet as the day progresses, so beaware of that. IF you got the regular sandals. If you got the Mush flip flops, these were wonderful! The sole is such a nice squishy footbed, it was a great shoe to have!

I also could not find those. I did find and buy the Skechers Energy Interscope sandals, which are very similar. I actually like these better cause they are less of a flip flop and more of a sandal. I bought mine at Famous Footwear, very little stock left. Try amazon, they had some a few days ago. That was gonna be my backup if I couldn't find them in the store.

Love, love, love Skechers Interscope! They have that great Skechers thick sole and really do stay on your feet and don't flop like a flip flop. I am a huge fan of Skechers sneakers with that sole (they are the only thing that keeps my feet happy when I have to do a lot of walking, and I have had several pairs) and I had to size down for the Interscope. I guess that makes sense because I wear socks and an arch support in the sneakers.

If you know your size in Skechers, I recommend trying the sandals on first or ordering from someone with free returns.

I also love the Teva cork sandals. I love my Birks, but that squishy teva cork seems to work better for lots of walking on my feet. I ordered some Chacos (z something?) that I thought were too hard and heavy, so I returned them. For some reason, softer works better for my feet (also love Teva mush). I guess it's all about knowing what works for you.

I bought some stick on arch supports (Dr. Rosenberg's) for some dressy sandals. They work well, and I am thinking they might work with regular sandals. It's tough having to search and search for something with decent arch support. Merrells and Clarks just don't have enough for me which I've always hated because they have some cute styles.

I did find the Energy Interscope sandals at Kohls on saturday so I bought them. They were on sale for $20. I like them alot but I feel like I'm bouncing when I walk. I'll have to get used to them before wearing them all day at WDW.
I live in the Toledo area but have been in and around Cleveland many times.
