Anyone Else Missing DL Fireworks??

My daughter and I just got home from our community fireworks display. We kept comparing them to the ones at DL! I can't wait until our trip in the Fall! Nothing compares to fireworks at the Magic Kingdom :goodvibes

I compare ALL fireworks shows to Disneyland's, even the Macy's 4th of July fireworks display on tv! In fact, on tonight's show they had a sequence where they featured the song "Shenandoah" and it made me all happy and misty-eyed since it reminded me of the Shenandoah part of Remember Dreams Come True. :goodvibes

We miss them, too. We didn't even go to our local fireworks. We just stayed home and watched a movie. Here's hoping Dumbo is still flying in Sept!

Our little town north of us pop 15,000 didn't even put on fireworks this year due to budget cuts :( but it never compares to DL anyway! We watched "Happy Feet" on the Disney channel LOL
TV fireworks just make me sad and wish I was at DL.

We were watching the neighbors fireworks from our pool and joked where was the fireworks music channel. I am not a huge fireworks person but I have to say that DLR 50th fireworks display made me like them again or at least that show. :) Disney does know how to put on a show.

I saw a free fireworks show at Redondo Beach. While quite spectacular, it was not Disney. But it didn't cost $69 for admission either.
