Hi y'all; usually I'm on the Disboutiquers thread, but I have an absolutely last minute "big give" of the sister of a friend who's leaving for their son's make a wish trip in three days. Because of the time crunch, I'd like to do some iron on transfer tee's. Usually I don't work w/ transfers, so I have a question:

On our last trip, I made some t-shirts using Avery transfers. I washed the shirts w/o fabric softener, used the hottest setting on the iron, and they looked great!-- until they got wet, then they bled all down the shirt. Because this is going to another family, I need to know if there is some way to avoid this.

I know this is probalby answered somewhere, and I did look around, but because this is reallllyyy time sensitive, I hope it's ok that I asked directly.

Thanks in Advance!
Nicole

After you put the transfer on. Wash them in cold water. and remove immediatly to the dryer. Or you can hang them to dry.

They shouldnt bleed after that. hope that helps.
