I am taking my DD to the AKL in late August. I want to fax the hotel to request the trail and room I would like (if available). Does anyone have the fax number and what the fax should look like?

Thanks

Mike

We have always had luck having our son dictate the fax. It always sounds so cute when we send it off. Of course we tell him what room to mention! Just need to have reservation number on it, name, arrival date, and requests. Wait unitl three days before to send it since they don't get any information in the resort computer until then. Make sure CRO has your requests first, so your fax will just be repeating them. Also, if it is really important to you, you might also want to call the day before you go.

Fax is:407-938-4799

BTW..I saw your post on the restaurants board as well, and I wanted to pass along this site that lists all the menus of the character meals, resort phone and fax numbers and stuff. It has some good info that might help in addition to these boards. People like to see the menus and it had the most current ones! Wasn't sure if you knew about it!

We have found that in composing your fax make sure you list the thing most important to you FIRST. In our experience, (and in conversations with CM's), they try to accomodate your first request, sometimes to the exclusion of all others.

Don't say, "I want a King room on the Kudu trail but only if it can be on the 4th floor, otherwise, I want a 5th floor queen room". With that request, chances are you'll get a King room on the 2nd floor of Zebra trail, and they'll think they've given you what you requested.

Oh yeah...and we also try to give them a couple of different preferable spots, like two or three different buildings, so if one isn't available, then they know what our back up one would be. This has always worked great for us.

I also agree with Bob NC> put your requests in order of importance.
