How many times have you done an add-on?

I was just curious......How many times you have added on since joining DVC. We have a .006 behind our contract number, and own at three resorts. We are definetley done for now, but I was wondering if anyone else is like us??

For our original contract in 1993 we have 7 add ons. In addition, we have also purchased 3 resales- 2 at OKW and 1 at HH.

We probably won't add too many more...at least for a few years! ;)

We did a 25 pt add at OKW just before it sold out, added 70 pts at VWL last yr and 72 pts at BCV last month. I think I'm done now because:
1) I want to keep my dues around $100.00 per month
2) We only stay at studios and I run out of vacation time with the points I have now.
3) I can book at 11 months at the three locations I want to stay at,at different times of the year.
4) I think DI and EP will be too overpriced for the amount of time remaining till 2042.

Having said all that,if the right resale becomes availible at the right price.........

I have done 1 add-on (80 points) at BCV to my existing 170 at Hilton Head..................And If I have my way maybe I will do another 50 someday...............

We started with a 200 point contract in 2000 at BWV, and added 100 points about a week after we signed the original papers! Last summer we did a 100 point add-on at HH. I have no interest in adding anymore points onsite at WDW, but would love to have more HH points!

BOught 230 OKW points added on 200 OKW, then 170 BCV then 270, BWV and now we are consdiering a small 50 point add on at VB. :) <----- where are my teeth?

Added on 5 times. We started with 150 at BWV. Then added 25 after being put on a waitlist. Wish we had bought more. Then we added on at VWL twice-57 and 73 for a total of 130. This year we added on twice at HH. 55 and 55 for a total of 110. The last addon has not closed yet and I had to be put on a waitllist for those points. We are on a waitlist for more BWV points and will if it does not come through in a year or so, we will look at a resale.

2 add on's for us... Original was with OKW, then added on more, then we found we wanted even more trips to WDW and added on at BWV. I think we're done.... I agree with above poster....if only we had more vacation time and $$..then we might consider adding on more points, but for now, we're happy!

We started with 200 BWV points. We then added 25 to BWV. When BCV was available we added another 225 points. We now have 450. I'd really love more but am very happy to have what we have.

We officialy have our original contract plus 3 add-ons. It really works out to more than that, as 2 of our add-ons were re-written a couple of times to add points to the add-ons! :cool:

Started with 175 BWV points. Have done 2 add-ons; one for 50 pts. at BWV and another for 125 pts. at BCV. Still on the waiting list for one more add-on at BWV, although I may actually wind up declining the pts. if and when my name comes up. ($80 per pt. is pretty pricey, and then there's dues...) Since I haven't totally decided against one more add-on, I'm leaving my name on the list while I continue arguing with myself. ;)

We started with 230 at the BWV, added 70 more on before it sold out. This year we added on 100 at the BCV.

We added twice. Our 1st points are at OKW. We got 164 which equals 6 nights magic 1br. Then we added 64 at BWV which is a Fri/Sat magc studio preferred. I figured these points would be a buffer if a reallocation happend at OKW. I also used the divsiable by 8 plan with these 64 points. Finally, we just added 50 points at BCV. I was anywhere from 28 points to 42 points on this one then just went for 50.
We now have 278 points and 2 other timeshares.....lots of vacation time.....spruce
