App or Dessert?

It's our first time doing the dining plan (free :cool1:) - so I'm wondering if we always have to get dessert or if they would let us get an app instead? Anyone know if this is possible?

Substituting an appetizer for dessert at TS restaurants on the basic dining plan is not permitted under any circumstances.

It's possible at CS you may be able to trade your dessert for a bottle of water or a bag of chips, but not every CS is going to allow this.

That's a bummer. But I can't complain too much - it's free.

Although it would be nice to be able to choose between an appetizer and a desser it is not allowed. Anything over your entree, dessert, and drink will be OOP.
