Hi everyone
I normally lurk around the WDW boards - but now we are fancying a trip to DLP. Not been for years!
I have many questions but perhaps you could get me started - my DD is 10 at the end of September & we were looking to go for 3 nights from 29th Spetember.
1. Is it cheaper to book direct with DLP for the hotel (either Sequoia? or NewPort Bay) and then book Euurostar (the train is coming in about £270 for the 3 of us)?
2. Is the half board option normally a good deal?
3. Do you have to advance book meals?
Thanks
Shane

Hiya, I've only been once but going again in the near future, but both times I've booked the hotel and eurostar seperate and saved, this time we saved a few hundred pounds doing it seperate! spoken to a fair few travel agents booking are latest trip, all of which found it much cheaper to book seperate.
regarding the meals, I think its advised to book in busy seasons, but not "if you dont book you wont find a table", but thats just going by some peoples opinions on the board.

Thanks Shane - that's probably the way to go then. Is the Eurostar price expensive or does it seem about average?

The eurostar price can vary alot. My best advice is to goto eurostar direct at - http://www.eurostar.com/. I've gone on the eurostar several times and struggled to even come near the prices of booking direct. We payed £135 return each (direct train) for mid july, but I have seen it at £90 return each and direct. I could'nt go on the 12th july but I was looking and I found £45 for the last seats available!
Mid week or a sunday seems the best day to travel price wise too :)

Shane as you know we are going the same time as you (Pixie dust here we come LOL!) and our Eurostar train was £65 each return and my DD was £45. We booked March and got the cheapest seats available for this time of year :-)
