I had to put this on here......it amused me NO end!
While having a conversation with my neighbour, :laundy: I told her that next year I'm off to WDW and maybe see if I can squeeze a trip to California in too seeing as I might not be travelling again for a while (moving house and spending what's left on a mega holiday).
She asked me what I wanted to do there and I said visit Disneyland of course. The shock horror filled her face. "What? there's ANOTHER Disney other than Florida and Paris?" :scared1: I burst out laughing! :laughing: People round here seem to think that WDW is the original House of Mouse, when I explained that California was the original Disney she nearly had a heart attack there and then. "Three Disney parks? Wow, I didn't know that!" Imagine how she looked when I told her there was actually FIVE resorts with Tokyo and Hong Kong added to the equation....even more so when I told here that the Magic Kingdom/Disneyland parks was only a small part of Disney and there were in fact other "Kingdoms" too!!!
It's kinda cute really. The woman is 26 and the look of amazement on her face was just how my kids react :lmao:
