Now, I don't want to sound greedy, but my wife says she's talked to 2 different people who did Palo twice on a 4-day. Has anyone else pulled this off, and how did you do it?

We will be trying this on our 10/24 Wonder cruise w/o kids. We did the 7 day with the kids in Jan. and liked Palos alot. I'm thinking of trying for the first night(Thurs) and checking in the am for cancellations for either Fri. or Sat. We ended up cancelling our brunch on the 7 day because our dd would not go to club. We'll see what happens.

Not sounding greedy at all!!!! We just returned from a 7 day in June and went to Palo 4 times...... We were on Wonder in April for 4 night and also did Palo for 2 nights. We were cat. 3 and just said we would like to reserve and there was no problem. However, we were in Palo so much on the 7 night and talked to the waiter Salvatore and he said many nights there are lots of cancellations if you walk up there and ask they can seat you. I think they said they only take 120 reservations per night (does that seem right? I think that is what they said) There were a few tables that were never sat during the night so if you REALLY want to eat there just walk up and ask, you may get your request. And by the way it is so worth it, the chocolate souflet(sp?) is so good, and the food there is just really much better than in the dining rooms. They are cooking to order there. We actually felt like Salvatore was our dining room server instead of our regular servers!!!!!! It was really good, we definately enjoyed it, the rack of lamb is good, also the sea bass on the 4 night was excellant, however, they did not have it on the 7 night, they had tuna instead which was good but had many bones. The appetizers and desert alone was worth the trip. ENJOY!!!!

Would this be impossible or crazy to do. Since disney has changed our dinner time to 5:30, I was looking at eating at Palo's after a light dinner with dd. Do they let you do this first off and would this be to much? Has anybody done this before?

We had Salvatore on our 5/25 trip...he is great!!
Hubby wouldn't think that you are greedy at all...I think he could happily eat at Palo every night for a month and never get tired of it. I like the regular diningrooms, too, but I certainly never get tired of that souffle.

There seemed to be many possibilities at Palo. We did not even order an entree one night, just the bread/pesto sauce/olive sauce etc... was wonderful. Salvatore would take offense though if you did not say it was "excellent" I have never come accross anyone that loved their job more than Salvatore. We truly enjoyed him.....Another option at Palo that not too many speak of is the pizza, it was unbelievable. My husband loves olives and Salvatore made him a pizza with different kinds of olives it was really really good!!!! You can definately do two meals, if you can stomach it, just go to your regular dining room and schedule Palo later (or earlier) however, I would eat light to save room for the chocolate souffle (thanks for the spelling Barb)
