WISH 2010 January Nametags(please submit by December 27th)

Hey WISHers....

I am back and volunteering to do nametags again for January WDW Marathon Weekend.

OK, I think I need to change it up a bit. I have many nametags that never got picked up. Things were just a bit crazy and people were all over the place and some were not able to find there way over to get the nametags.

I think this time around I will ask whoever wants a nametag for themselves and a companion to send me a self-addressed stamped envelop and I will send it to them.
DEADLINE and LAST REQUESTS being takin until December 27th! That way they get printed out and back to you before I leave for WDW. I won't be bringing them with me.
The nametags will look like last years as I still have some and sure that some of you still have yours.

**** NEWS FLASH!!!****

We just got a notice today saying that the mail was supposed to be delivered yesterday 9/3/09 was stolen out of a parked Mail Truck. UGH!!! So if for some reason you think you mailed me an envelope and I don't say that I got it, yours maybe the one that got stolen. I am so sorry, but the post office is saying it isn't responsible for the lost mail.

I believe I have you on my list, but when printing them out I need to have at least 4 names and I have 3 right now, just waiting until I get another name and then I can print them off. Otherwise it wastes a nametag that I can't use again. If it gets towards December then I will go ahead and print it off.

I second that! This is my first Disney race and I am suddenly running it solo...:headache: (husband has *business* stuff that is keeping him home :sad1:)

I forgot to add that when I looked at your name I had to do a double take...I know a Tracy Goggin...but she lives in Ireland! Goggin isn't a very common name in America so it was a surprise to see it here on the Dis!!! Is your family Irish by any chance?:shamrock:

Oh, yes, my family (my father's side) is Irish. We have traced it back to 1742 to a Stephan Goggin who came here as a young boy and sttled in Virginia. But, that is as far as we know.

Unfortunately, I just remembered to look for this thread today. :sad1: Any chance you can just write my name on a stick on tag and bring it to the meet? I have been planning to be there, but never saw a link on my team's thread to this thread, so didn't get registered. Darn it! This happened to me last year too as I didn't decide to come until the last minute!

I made about 60 some odd nametags for this past year and had to bring them with me and carry them around with me on that Friday. Then I arranged them on a table at the meet for everyone to get. I ended up taking home about 30. Have had them in my posession ever sense. I decided this year that was just tooo much to do, so that is why I had people send SASE to get them before the meet.
I may bring some blank ones and hopefully I will remember take them to the meet. I have 2 other meets right before that.

I remember that table! I found my DIS name tag from a cruise that I took in 2006, so I will bring that. However, if you remember to bring the blank ones, I will be happy to make my own with the Sharpie from my goodie bag!
