DC Discounts At S/D for Entire Family?

I have read that there is a Disney Club discount at S/D restaurants. Do you have to keep showing your card each time you want the discount? We are a family of 5 and I only have one card. We may be at different places in the hotel at different times. Can they put the DC discount on your room so that all food purchases charged to your room get the discount?

No, I'm afraid not--you have to show the card each time to get the discount.

It's true, the DC 2002 benefits listing states that to take advantage of the Swan/Dolphin restaurant discount you must "Present Membership Card atstart of transaction".

You might want to consider getting an additional card for your family. Here is something I copied from the DC web site:

"Q: Is it possible to have cards for everyone in my family?

A: Actually, all of the family members living in the same household may use the card.

You may also obtain one additional card for your spouse (partner) or dependent child living in the same household. There is a $10.00 fee for the second membership card (limited to one additional card). You may contact our Member Services line at (888) DISNEY4U for further assistance."
